Today has been kind of....eventful.

David arrived this afternoon, and we went to Luss. Luckly we missed the heaviest of the rain, and went for a walk. Then we went to get some last minute shopping before I was to come home and make Spag Bol with Garlic bread. I was starved and couldn't to have dinner. David left his lights on in the car for the second time that day, so the battery died. Luckly he is with Green Flag, and they were there within 15 minutes. We were in a central location and easy to discribe where we were (about three cars away from Argos), so the mechanic found us easily. Within 10 minutes we were ready to go. David took the car for a little drive to Milton, then, finally, we were headed home for dinner. I felt so faint while cooking it, but feel much better now. I reminded David that he should leave early (10pm) to make sure he got home while it was reasonably light.

So that was us. Hope everyone else had a better day, we have been a bit up and down, but I did enjoy the walk.

Ah, you folks in northern climes. At least more north than my northern clime. I remember once coming home from a do at about 2 o'clock in the morning and we were looking at the light still in the sky and thinking, surely that can't be dawn already, but it was the glow left from the sun (doing what? In the north at summer you are not tilted enough away from the sun to make it completely dark? I suddenly realize I'm not sure why that happens. In any case, this was in the highlands so even more north than you.) We're getting sunset at 9:21.

Yes we do get light nights in the summer, then we also get very short days in the winter. I guess it is all part of the fun.

Glad you liked the walk. You got to remember to eat so you don´t get sick or your bloodsugar gets low and you faint.
I hope the trip to the hospital helped you.

With me it is my iron that makes me feel faint, but blood sugar as well is something to watch out for.

I don't go to the hospital until the 5th August. British long waiting lists again.

Gosh, that's one thing I hate, being out while you're hungry! I get so grouchy too from being so uncomfortable. Glad you felt ok in the end though :)
