Sexy, it is not the accent, but a will defined, modulated voice *drool*

A husky voice gets me every time!

Yeah, why do the Brits think any of their voices are sexy. I prefer the ones from home

I'm telling you, if British men had any idea what pushovers American women are for their accents, they'd be fleeing the Isles in droves :)

But for pure sexy to push my buttons to the max? Scottish.

The girls at work used to phone my husband just to listen to his voice. He had the well defined, modulated voice (fee paying school), liquid sex!

Hee! Just made a post a while ago about how I love David Tennant's accent.

Wasn't sure what to answer on the second question since sometimes I do understand and sometimes I don't have any idea what the person is saying. I guess it depends a bit on the person and how strong the accent is.

That was the right answer, generic, some regions are too strong to understand!

WHAY for the Scottish Accent!

I have a weakness for the Irish accent, it's just so lovely. :DD Scottish one as well. I want to move there. :D

Proud to be a Scot! Yes, my husbands voice would have my workmates phoneing him just to listen to him.....problem being, he hated the phone!

I have a thing for Aberdeen accents.

I can't understand Northern Irish and broad Somerset.

There's nothing like having call up farmers to test your accent understanding!

I used to have to call a courier company in Aberdeen and the guy's accent there made gooey. Perhaps he wasn't actually from Aberdeen, I don't know.

Well Jim, from Aberdeen, who I meet at univeristy, had one of those voices that I cannot hear unless he is talking directly at me. I had a voice he couldn't hear unless I was talking directly at him. Most of the time ok, unless he decided, with the newpaper directly against his face, to read an article out to me. *scream*

Most Irish accents do it for me - except the really strident Belfast ones.

As do a number of Scottish ones and, luckily considering, Geordies.

For me, not so much the accent! *sigh*, one irish accent did it for me, Southern, and my husbands....Well defined and well modulated mostly....maybe I am a snob?

My husband did go to a fee paying school, but then so do a couple of my friends, and I find their accent a turn off....still too rough!

I can understand most accents, though really strong inner-city accents (Glasgow, Newcastle etc) take concentration. For me it's the timbre of the voice, not the accent, that makes it sexy.A very few (Brummie, for instance) have to work harder to be sexy, though.

For me, Brummie, I have to work really hard to understand, don't even think about sex at all! I have been exposed to it a lot, but broad, and I still struggle
