	Ok, my subject line has nothing to to with my post. Just.....Sigh! I miss Michael! Feeling nostalgic today! So watching Torchwood, and discussing it with my friends....well make that friend, Ronnie. David cannot get past his homophobia. Has finally admitted it now. Anyway, Ronnie has never really been into the romance side of programmes. He is far more interested in the special effects, he meanings behind he monsters, if they are a metaphor for something wrong in RL....so Jacks sexuality doesn't really enter into it. No shipper wars for Ronnie! I think that is why, in RL, I am really losing interest in the ships now. I don't care. Jack/Ianto....Well, I do still hate Jack/Gwen, mostly because it gives me another reason to dislike the Gwen character. I can at times really hate her, especially when she is kissing Rhys and looking at Jack. I could've ripped her eyes out. But anyway, I guess that is why I am not doing reviews, or entering into the fandom very much. Also I feel I am retreating from the Buffy!Verse fandom as well. Human Angel doesn't work for me at all. I dont like Gwen at all either, she's a right bitch imho and when she drugged her BF in season one that was just evil

Yes, she should be content with Rhys, cos he would look after her, and give her a life. Seeming to lust after Captain Jack just makes her very unlikeable, when she has such a treasure at home!

Well since my OTP is actually a bit of a crossover between Torchwood and Doctor Who... can't say I have a ship in Torchwood either. I don't particularly mind Jack/Ianto and maybe Owen/Tosh (even if now... oh well) but I watch the show basically for Jack and for the action. And I can't stand Gwen! I loved Martha though, did you see the episode with her?

About the Buffy fandom... not there myself anymore I'm afraid. Not like it was in the beginning. I still read spangel when I found some but... yeah this human thing sucks. I'm trying to ignore it *sighs*

I do prefer crossovers myself, but even further away, Jack/Spike....what can I say, Spike goes everywhere with me. And of course lots of Jack/John, where I can find it! Not seen the episode with Martha in it yet, but I am already spoiled for her being in the next episode, as I am watching it at BBC 2 pace bacause of Ronnie!

Yes, so much less Spangel going round these days. The new people who have enteded the fandom seem more interested in other characters. *sigh*

Thats If you take any real notice of the comics and let them effect you, and quite frankly I don't.

I'm enjoying AtF, but it's not the 'real' show and will never be.
For me at least nothings changed.

When I first bought the comics, I was all ready to accept them as canon, now both have been ruined for me. I know Joss can play with the shippers, but Brian seems to be doing it as well, and with Spangel. Ruining the ship, then making comments that I feel mean that he is laughing at us. Could be I need a sense of humour inplant, but I am not happy about it!

We don't actually know if Angel is human yet, or if he'll stay that way after the end of the comic, but anyway, best thing is just to ignore them. Spangel4eva, that's what I say.

Well, they may yet put it back in.

After all, it'll be a bit hard to explain to future viewers (which I suppose the show will still get through DVD sales) that Angel is the vampire with a soul, until issue 3 of this comic lots of people haven't read in which he turned human (or possibly something else).

Um, will wait and see. At present I am unimpressed with Angel's changed status. Think I am pretty much ready to accept that the comics are just for "entertainment" rather than a continuation of the series.
