From my post yesterday, and my connection going down on Thursday, I was assured that there was no fault in my area at the time I contacted them. They also said they couldn't get an engineer out until today between 8am and 12pm. If I was not in for the engineer, they would also charge me £10, otherwise it would be free. I dutifully waited in, and then at 10 past 12, I phoned them. Only to be told that it had been a fault in my area after all, so they were not sending an engineer out. I know that after my connection came back on, perhaps I should've phoned them, but really for good customer relations, they could've let me know as well. Today I got an e-mail from them asking what I thought of the service they were providing. Guess who are not getting a good report from that! Oh yes, it is Virgin Media! Current Mood: grumpy

Ok, there is this friend of David's, I have met her a couple of times, but we don't really know each other. A bit of a snob. Married a man, who she thought was brilliant, and started only listening to classical music, Opera, getting into art (all of it based on his opinion, cause she has none of her own), Opera and Philosophy....so anyway. The marriage has broken up, she is very high maintenance, and the guy couldn't keep up, in fact has gone back to New Zealand, and she has started using these computer sites to find some one else (she is not divorced), and exchanging e-mails. So she is being very snobbish about who she meets. Only taking excellent English, no mis-spelling or grammar errors....the problem....she is on the phone at least 10 times a day to David to ask him how to spell things, his thoughts on grammar, and if what she has written sounds ok. It is driving David up the wall, and making me laugh! Current Mood: amused Current Music: Eagles Wasted Time
