| 1904 Corset |

I thought is was 1905 but it is 1904.
Anyhow here she is. The picture is taking with a horrible flash.
This was the very first corset Imade with figure seams on the hips. I have not seen any pattern like this before. I wonder if it would also work to draw longer figure seams on the hips and make them into gussets. Something to try out on another corset. :-)

| New corset dress finished |

I finished a new corset dress that I just had to share. I LOVE flower quitling fabrics, and I love the color burgundy, so I was really fond of the fabric my client picked out. :)  Is has 21 pieces of steel boning. A flat steel bar in the center front and a mix of flat and spiral steels around. Two pieces grommets in the back. Interlined with coutil, and lined with a soft cotton lining. Trimmed with velvet ribbon. I posted more pictures in the livejournal of Skeletons in the Closet. |

MUST FLOSS NEXT CORSET!! I LOVE the flossing post Catherine made yesterday! I REALY want to floss a corset now. All I need is a little extra hours in a day, and the I am good to go. ;)

The flu has hit our house. Both me and Maarten are ill. We spend the night together shiffering under a blanked. It is not really that romantic, but we are soooo cold.
Anyhow, is anybody doing anything for valentines day? I do not think that we will do anything, perhaps I will use the excuses to buy some new lingerie. |

Summer cleaning!
Because I do need a personal live, I have reopened the Skeletons in the Closet Livejournal. And I started off with a huge stock sale.
And I am cleaning up my friendslist. So if I do now know you personal, and we have never exchange messages, I might delete you. Please do not take this personal. It is just that I want to keep things seperate, because I actualy have a live too. Yes I know, you wouldn't say, but there is live in this little town up north.

A friend of mine, Marina, from Finland wrote an article about Goth for a magazine.
She really manage to explain the diversity and the non existence of goth music.
And she quoted me. (cute huh) I really wish I could go to WGT to see her. But next year I will. I'll book a room in december.
