08:44 pm: This is why none of the interesting stuff goes on-line
Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In April I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). Last Tuesday I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In January I caught a purse-snatcher who stole [info]toughlovemuse's purse (30 points). Last Thursday I gave [info]unearthly a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In September I pulled over and changed [info]medusa_666's flat tire (15 points).

Overall, I've been nice (422 points). For Christmas I deserve a pony!

Sincerely,
winter_wolf_

06:52 pm: And they wonder why they have a bad name....
Britain's 'most important archeological' discovery found in desk drawer

"The artifacts were part of a dagger buried with a warrior chief, near Stonehenge, nearly 4,000 years ago.

Archeologists said they were known as 'the work of the gods'.

The pinhead-sized studs form an intricate pattern on the handle of a dagger, but archeologists failed to realise their significance when they excavated the burial mound in Wiltshire - known as Bush Barrow- in 1808.

Now they are to be re-united with other priceless artefacts unearthed at the site and put on show at the Wiltshire Heritage Museum in Devizes after Niall Sharples, a senior lecturer at Cardiff University turned out his predecessors' desk and discovered them in a film canister labelled Bush Barrow.

In the 1960s, the gold was taken away for examination by Professor Richard Atkinson, a Cardiff University archaeologist well known for his work at Stonehenge and nearby Silbury Hill.

Wiltshire Heritage Museum director David Dawson said: "We think he recognized what they were but then he died and they were rescued by his successor Professor John Evans who put them in a drawer in his desk. Professor Evans died in 2005 and the gold studs have now been found by Niall Sharples, who is going to return them to us." "

You Are a Centaur

In general, you are a very cautious and reserved person.
However, you are also warm hearted, and you enjoy helping others in practical ways.
You are a great teacher, and you are really good at helping people get their lives in order.
You are very intuitive, and you go with your gut. You make good decisions easily.

09:33 am: Yes I'm still at home.

Yes I'm supposed to work today.

Well rebuilding a gear assembly at 7 in the morning with out coffee or breakfast is not my idea of how to start a good morning off. But than it wasn't my idea in the first place.

And I'm definitely going to have to wash the floors again tonight.

1. I think I'm going to go check the price on bunkers. if anyone else has revelations that big... Oh man the Apocalypse is definitely coming...

2. I think I'm going to go into shock. between Heroes and Tourchwood. It's been years since I've seen even decently written TV let alone one done well. I suggest checking out Tourchwood if you get the chance

11:39 pm: Blood Calling
I would say it's a testament to all my Spiritual teachers over the years that I'm not  Currently Biking down a  high way some where right now.

I ended up biking home in the light Rain with a nice tail wind heading East  (north north east, For anyone off island) Listening to Carrie Ankre. Honestly I ended up going past My turn before I even realised it. Had to do a bit of a J to get back home.

Invitation
Carrie Ankre

I sat be the sea
Waging war with my misery
You came along and changed everything
Now I can see
Life's pleasures waiting for me
Everything looks different
to me

There's an invitation coming over me
To change my life the way I want it to be

Now I know how many times it's gonna take for me to fall
Before I get it
That every time I go and make a choice without my heart
I will always regret it

There's an invitation coming over me
To change my life the way I want it to be

I drift on the sea
Waging war with my destiny
Arms wide open
Fearing nothing

I had the choice
Love was waving me in
I could either choose to sink or swim

There's an invitation coming over me
To change my life the way I want it to be….

I consider it a good thing I heading east for vacation in a couple mounths.

Where are all you people who were all happy there was no snow before mid december.
What do you have to say now?

In other news I'm back to my old mantra at work.
