BioI is for Indie Disco.
This is where Arts and Social Sciences students go when they want to get their freak on. The indie disco uniform basically hasn't changed since about 1995 (nor has the playlist, apart from the addition of Seven Nation Army and Hard To Explain), so all you need is cords, old-school runners, a second hand t-shirt and a suit jacket/tracksuit top. Uniform works for both sexes.It's very hard to pretend you're Fabrizio Moretti/that chick from the Distillers without a cigarette hanging out of your mouth (brief note on smoking - Marlboro lights are common as fuck - do not smoke them. The key to pulling at indie discos is to be very selective about what you actually dance to. People who spend all night on the dancefloor at an indie discos are weird. Dance a bit, then look really critical about the next song. Indie kids dig music snobbery. Most of them would prefer not to like a song than to like it.
