My name is Caitlyn.
Some people call me Cait, but it kind of annoys me.

I like the name Clover, I think it's very original.
I don't like the name May.
I would hate to hear "Hey May!" over and over each day.
I love my friends.
I value every one of them more than they will ever know.
I thank God for them as much as I can.
With that being said, I try to believe in God with everything I can.

I love music with a passion.
I love to sing, and play guitar, and piano.
Music helps me get through the day.
If I'm feeling sad, I can put on some music, and just escape into it.
I love Relient K.
They own my heart, even if I go through times when I don't listen to them as much.
I also listen to Nine Inch Nails, The Rocket Summer, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra, and Keith Urban a lot.

I try not to pay attention to what most others think of me.
The only opinions that matter to me are those of the people I love.
I hate it when I mess up.
When it comes to academics, people ask me a lot if I keep my grades up because of my parents, or if I get money for A's.
My response?
Not at all.
I do it for myself.
I like doing things that I can be proud of.
We only live once.
When I'm in heaven, I'd rather be able to look back on my life on Earth and feel accomplished, than feel like I wasted something so precious.

I will not do something that's "cool" if I don't like it in the first place.
I think people that do something just to be cool, even though they don't like it, are mindless and should learn to do things for themselves, rather than to "please" others.
I'm not one to give up easily.
Once again, I succeed for myself, not for others.

I love being a girl.
There are so many things that come with being a girl that a lot of people take for granted.
Myself included, until a friend pointed it out to me.
Simple things, like having a door held open for you, or not being expected to do heavy-duty work, having a car door opened for you, a chair pulled out, or getting a hug from behind.
