there will always be bad things in the world, there will always be mistakes. in the midst of all this chaos we wish for that certain freedom we once had wherein after catching kites on poles and stealing the neighbors' electrical bills we run glibly away to hide; that freedom to turn browner than mud beneath the sun as you race rabid street dogs while giggling, full of fear yet fearing nothing; those moments wherein the simple offering of a half-eaten sandwich and a rubber jack ball renews a shattered friendship; moments wherein beauty just Is..those little moments that people tend to forget.
