I know a lot of you guys have hanging DVD racks/shelves, and I'm really contemplating getting one. I have a lot of DVDs, over 100, so something hanging on the wall would definitely save me space. Anyone have any reccomendations or pictures?

I wrote this last year after watching The Nightmare Before Christmas around Halloween, and i figured i'd finish it up and post it while another Halloween is just around the corner. I'm not sure why i write the random ficlets that i write, but that movie rocks and i had some slightly poetical imagery thoughts about a rag doll loving a skeleton. I'm not even a Hot Topic goth kid. :*(

Necessary Disclaimer:  I very, very, very rarely post about politics (or my religious views, for that matter) because it's such a divisive subject, because I'm not at all interested in alienating anyone based on differing opinions or potential misunderstandings, and because ultimately, I know I'm not going to change anyone's mind about their own views, nor am I trying to.  However, this is an important election, no matter which way you slice it.  I have passionate views on politics right now, as I always have.  I need to let some of them out, even though I know already that not all of you will agree.  So I'm asking for some tolerance, because at the end of the day, this is my journal and my mode of expression of my own beliefs.  Y'all are free to disagree or agree as you will; you're still my friends.  Just understand that nothing in here, and I mean nothing, is intended as a provocation of anyone.

Frankly, I wish I didn't have to put a disclaimer of any kind on this post, but recently I've seen people getting quite irate (and even downright nasty) with one another, sometimes to a degree that really surprises me, and I don't want any of that here, whether it be directed towards me, or anyone else who might choose to comment.  So just... keep that in mind, and play nice, or I'm going to have to break out the trusty Customer Service bat and put it to another use. ;)

Okay, that was rather cathartic!  Again, please keep it civil.  Sadly, I posted this at all against my better judgment; I seem to remember unfortunate goings-on in the comments to my last political post, and I refuse to repeat the experience.  I may have to flock this even, because last time outside discussion only made things worse, and I don't want to repeat that problem, either.

In lighter, non-political news: the Californication 2x03 review/capspam is in progress, fellow Moodyphiles!  If you feel like squeeing about the episode with me in the comments here, I would not mind in the slightest.  WASN'T IT AWESOME? ;)

I broke down and bought the latest issue of the Heroes Magazine.

I didn't know that James Kyson Lee(Ando) had to learn Japanese on set! It's not his native language.  He could have fooled me, because I definitely thought that it was. Same thing with Mohinder...I didn't know that the way he spoke on the show...that's not his natural accent.

Very convincing, people!
