Biography: Turnen is the son of Elernil and Hathien, two loyal members of the House of the Fountain. Elernil, a teacher turned soldier, fought bravely and died in the Nirnaeth. Hathien, a simple seamstress, carries on with her grief to look after her young and bright children, Nenriel and Turnen.
Unlike his sister, Turnen is very outgoing and jovial. Still a very young man, Turnen works as many odd jobs as he can to bring home money while dreaming of becoming a guard of the great Gate of Steel. Much of his free time is spent learning how to wield a sword and fight.
