Sorry for double posting but...

So I've finally consolidated the Stuff I'm Going To Sell, and it's quite a lot. I just don't need it/don't wear it/need to fund my driving licence, bookshop-owning dreams, hk trip and art materials. Feel free to make offers or something. Most of the pics are on poupeegirl, those aren't will be up soon.

MILK regimental stripe OP (burgendyxyellowxblue stripe)
BTSSB snow white OP (red; no sleeves)
JM Across the Universe Union Jack sweater (navy)
JM Paperdoll cutsew (grey)
ETC highneck ribbon cutsew (pink) (this one)
ETC black puff-sleeved cutsew (this // crappy worn pic)
MAM bunny ear parka (pink)
AP mod girl JSK (glen check, grey)
AP carnival OP (redxpink; yes the same as the amazingly overpriced one)
AP present box dot socks (redxwhite, never used at all)
IW knit top (white, the shortsleeve one everyone got in their LPs)
Offbrand ribbon winter jacket (this one)
Offbrand ribbon angnora hat (this one, same as above)
Handmade burberry tartan check dress (tan/light brown check, this one // worn)

*possible sales
- ETC ribbon velour cutsew jsk (navy with flocking, this one)
- ETC heart cutsew jsk (navy with white, GIANT pockets)

I'm not looking for trades honestly (unless you really really think I like it). I can't wear it as often as I'd like (reading group = no, drawing = no, pouring heated wax installatons = definitely NO.) so I don't see the point in having so many clothes. If I can dig up more stuff to sell, I'll stick it here first. I'll do holds for anyone on my flist, plus the official egl one will probably be in mid-Sept anyway (still have deadlines till 9th sept)

gack(t)ed from [info]muier_noir

HEY FOLKS. LISTEN UP. Go down your friends list. Steal thar lolita photos. Open up MS Paint. Write something nice. Submit that shit to [info]loli_valentines and pass this along. I want the next post to be epically long, and include everyone you know and love (or even hate) to outdo the stupid bitching and e-vendetta bullshit that has been perpetuated lately. Fuck Loli_Secrets, /CGL/, Vendettas, and any other community that exists for people to troll others needlessly. Fuck it right in the ear. NOW GO GET THAT SHIT DONE.

I managed to make 20 (inc. some non-lolita ppl *coughayacough*) Spread da love!

On a totally different note...

I'M GOING HONGKONG AT THE END OF YEAR! *rejoice* yay now I can eat all the chestnut cake/mont blanc I want<3333 There's this cake shop called Queen's Kondatroi that makes award-winning mont blanc at Langham Place....which, amusingly enough is situated near VM's HK store. There's a JM store and an ETC/ST store there as well, but meh, what I really want is CAKE *_*!

ps. [info]sereith you asked me how far would I go for cake? Ans: I'm willing to wake up in the morning to get it xD

did some flist cleaning. It's either you don't comment/I don't comment, so please don't feel offended. Most of everyone is safe anyway.....

or you can all now add me on Twitter: @MILKRED yes yes, caved into peer pressure etc etc etc don't really like it though, the 140 wordcount makes me nervous @_@

argh I need to do a sales post soon, anyone interested? I'll offer to f-list first as per usual. Items to be listed are:

ETC yellow cardigan
ETC heart pocket cutsew dress in blue
JM argyle top in navy
JM regimental stripe skirt in navy x green
AP millefuielle skirt in mint

negotiables....:

alice chess skirt in black
snow white OP in red

(flip through everything on my poupeegirl)

I just have way too much stuff now, and it's driving me crazy Dx some days I just want to stuff everything into a bag and never look at lolita again. I wish the sales comn kept the 'feeler' posts too, because I have no clue how to set prices for JM stuff for egl. I don't want to undercut the prices too much because I know what they're worth and it's bad for the brand too :x

....on a different note, I have no clue what to wear for tomorrow's meetup. I feel like wearing something pretty, but knowing how lazy I am it'll just be whatever's clean :x my family is staying in Melbourne with me now anyway (for Easter) so I'm not really keen on shocking them.

Beef Bourguignon is one of those things I like to cook when I'm stressed (hello deadline tomorrow!). Originally a French traditional provencal cusine, it's now elevated to the like of fine overpriced dining....It doesn't help that most French food in Melbourne is horribly overpriced for the ingrediants, and doesn't really have much variety (in terms of bistro food) besides the degustation type. Essentially, it's beef braised in red wine then stewed/baked till soft and tender. I like cooking it because it's really process-orientated, cheap to cook and tastes better over the days. It also has the advantage that when everyone is in SWOTVAC and eating 7/11 munch pies + redbull......you'll be deliciously wellfed with stew<3

Whenever I cook it, it reminds me of old christmases~ the warming sensation, rich wine-flavoured gravy and tender beef is perfect for cold winter days.

Beef Bourguignon (serving for 6.....or 3 very hungry housemates!)

800g beef topside (uncut) - $8.50

300g of mushrooms - $3.45

2 carrots - $0.45

4 potatoes - $2.75 for a bag of 5

2 onions - $0.45

1 leek - $0.80

1/3 bottle of red wine (merlot) - $11.95 from safeway liqour

3 cloves of garlic

1 punnet of tomato puree (20g) - $0.70 from coles brand

500ml of beef consumme

bouquet garni (thyme, bay leaf and rosemary)

seasonings: butter, sugar, cracked black pepper, soy sauce and seasame oil

--------------

1. marinate beef overnight with 1/3 red wine + 2 smashed cloves of garlic + 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of seasame oil + cracked black pepper to taste and bouquet garni. seal with clingform and wait at least 12 hrs in a cool area (NOT FRIDGE).

2. chop all carrots and potatoes, parboil for 10mins. drain and place into buttered baking tray.

3. slice leeks, onions and panfry then place into (same) buttered baking tray.

4. brown beef at both sides, place into (same) buttered baking tray.

5. with the leftover wine marinad; heat it up until it bubbles, add butter, tomato puree and beef consumme until simmering. pour on buttered baking tray

6. cover tray with tinfoil, bake for 1.5 hrs in a preheated oven at 180c. remove tinfoil, increase temp to 250c and bake for another 30mins.

Enjoy!<333333

ALICE WAS HERE

I am surprised that this is my first time using a digital camera, doing long exposure and I did not fuck up! *amazed* The un-amazing part is that we ran into a guy who was wanking off in the tunnel (yar rly), a guy peeing on a tree and it was butt-awful cold and DRIZZLING. thankfully steph is an awesome model and sport because it was really awful weather and we made her come for both days. tomorrow once I send the roll of kaizokuban photos I'll upload it to arabesque first for everyone to have a go-see. if it's not the right stuff for the zine, i'll just shoot another. i have a pop'n'rock one scheduled once i find a suitable model, and possibly a pinkhouse one if the weather turns out right.

funny trivia: the blue is from the KAT-TUN queen of pirates penlight and the red/white is from the Kinki Kids concert LOL

hellooooooo~ melbourne!

Anyway I'm back in Aust and that's cool until I stepped into my house and realised OMG COBWEBS! So I spent yesterday cleaning and setting up the internet (yay our house is now wireless!) and life's cool like that.

I'm probably going to clean up the yard (today or tomorrow), do some laundry, fix the sheets (600threadcount!) and do more groceries. Sunday I'm making pancakes!! (this recipe)

Anyway, is there anything important I missed? I'll catch up with everyone's entries now :D

You're all invited for the exhibition opening on the 17th November 2008 :D It promises to have free booze, food and socialising er, I mean intellectual discussions of the aesthetic qualities of fine art photography demostrated by the 3rd year students of the School of Creative Arts (or so it says on the PR release LOL) Anyway, it's at the Baileau Library, Melbourne University (gate 9, near grattan street) I'll be exhibiting 2 photos along with the rest of the cohort, but if you can't make it I'll be uploading the rest (6 images in total) on flickr. REJOICE! I'm not entirely sure when it starts, but 5pm is a good bet.

Anyway, please let me know if you're coming so I can tell Jess to add more food/booze/places/tix.

Weird Japanese brand meme from [info]saitou_null (translated by me), it reads like a marketing survey! LOL Also been really busy lately, I've finalised the dates of the photography exhibition (17th Nov onwards) and just been @_@ over work.....sometimes I wonder why I insist on fibre-based silver gelatin print, when I can easily do it on a digital printer...*cough* but really, doing it on fibre-based paper basically gaurentees an archival time of at least a 100 years and looks absolutely great. Now to just get my stuff consolidated togther, so everything can be handed up on time...

On the same note, I'm moving house in Nov again this time to Parkville (hopefully). We saw a really nice house today, complete with a spiral staircase! (a bit small staircase, but nonetheless...) all the rooms have windows too. There's a balcony that opens to a backyard, and it's quite shady and leafy<3~ Isn't that great? And audy + jw was saying how much I would looooooove this room since it has SO. MUCH. CLOSET. SPACE. :DDDDDDDD!! now to just submit the relevant application and hope that we get the place.

Oh yeah, did everyone see this? Talk about insanity! D: I would never pay so much for an item.

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/26210135@N07/ add me!

Or if you leave a photo of yours, I'll add you back too. so happy. finally got a yahoo ID working. i'm tempted to get a paid account so everything is all nicely in sets though ^^;;;;; seems so expensive to pay to be organized....

oh yeah, I added [info]muier_noir and [info]basje already...I think? It's just clicking the tab thingy under your profile right? I used the link from your blog photos so it should be the right one...

*cough*

anyway, n00bness aside I'm really happy all my photos are organized now. It's much easier than digging through 35+ pages of untagged un-album'ed photobucket :x
