Last night i fulfilled one of my lifetime ambitions. to grope Ana Matronic of scissor sisters fame's tattood bicep. she LOVED it. and i did too.
Last night was the best ending to this Uni year i could imagine really. All year stuart and i have been saying that when the scissor sisters tour we have to go see them because they're one of the bands we both really regret not seeing. and lowww and behold they were playing at one of my favourite clubs and tickets were only 12 quid! was abit of a hassle getting them but it was definitely worth the effort.
highlights were probably:
MUSIC IS THE VICTIM
and some of their new stuff sounded really good too. i duno, i know the scissor sisters are abit last year and all but i really was quite upset about missing them when they played in Brighton, watching the dvd of that show is so anoying because i can see george in the front row loving it. so this really made up for it. Also i love going to gigs where people actually dance aswell , not just stand there or jump up and down.
OH yeah also Elton john was there. he was on this balcony and he was waving to everyone. classic.
So I'm coming back to Brighton today. part of me is quite sad to leave these student halls even if they are pretty skank. i've grown to love them. The first year of uni has been really good, i've been incredibly lucky. I'm so glad I moved closer to london because now it feels like home and i've really wanted to feel that since i was really young. Nothing about it is intimidating anymore and i ts nice to actually know people in the clubs we go to in central. I hope i get a job soon so i can come up in the summer.
But great as it all has been i do quite miss Brighton. you seriously do not realise how great it is until you leave (well probably more so if you're gay).
see you soooon enniiit
oh yeah also
can you spot a katie in popstarz..
" suck it haaarddd, go dowwn baby"
