Ting came up with this idea of a joint blog, so that we girls can be updated with each others' lives easily. =) The blog is still under construction as I type now.

Let's see what have the I have been up to recently...
On Saturday, Xian, Ting and I met up to hang around. We ended up at Funan where Xian and I bought our spanky new stylish Vaio laptops! The sales assistant told us that if we pay in cash, she would give us a free mouse each. I have no idea why she offered this deal to us [can someone enlighten me?].

We trotted happily to the ATM machine but imagine our horror when the machine began to dispense 2,000sgd in 50-dollar notes! I have no idea that the biggest value of a note that the ATM machine holds is 50-dollar. So yeah, I quickly stuffed the huge wad of notes into my bag since my wallet is too small to hold them. =.=

Elena and I got our hair fixed today [she dyed, I rebonded]. We also had such a fun time visiting each other's towns in the game Animal Crossing with our NDS Lite. But alas, the connection went bonkers many times. But still, we managed to perform some tasks. Now my town will have some apple trees and hers will have peaches [which really look like butts]!

Now my hair looks sooooo flat. I hate newly rebonded hair. >.<

1) I can finally wear my short skirts and shorts out again
2) Dressing up appropriately to fit my role as a teacher makes me feel old
3) I prefer slippers to patent heels
4) I can wear multiple earrings/ear studs again, especially the piercing on my ear cartilage
5) He came to look for me on Thursday, to explain himself and apologise. I told him all these came too late and the whole world thinks badly of him now.
6) But he said that he knows that  there's at least one person [read: me] who's on his side.
7) I don't know if I am up to being friends with him.
8) The hug felt so good.
9) At the rate I am spending money, there's bound to be some problems.
10) Do I really need to buy a laptop, a new bed and rebond my hair?
11) My bro's desktop's crawling... I can give this current laptop to him. Besides, it's too heavy for me to want to bring it to school and back.
12) One of the legs of my current bed has split.
13) I have too much hair. And some of the layered parts are kind of wavy and puffy.
14) Justified purchases?

Today is the last day of my Teaching Assistantship. The girls from 3 Courage came up to the staffroom to look for me, and passed me little gifts. I am so touched by their thoughtful gesture. T-T



Leon from 6 Loyalty even asked for my autograph. Lol. The boys exchanged MSN address with me, and has been flooding my chat since 4pm.

I will miss the kids...

I can finally handle phone calls from you without screaming bloody murder or weeping buckets. I can finally talk to you about your current "so-called gf" [as you put it], without wishing she was dead and I were in her place instead.

In fact, I sincerely hope that she truly loves you, and that you have finally learned how to treasure and be serious about something. But my sixth sense tells me no. [sarcasm] Maybe I'll have the last laugh. [/sarcasm]

Been so busy with activities and stuff, that I didn't really have the time to update..

- Lunch at Ikea with Elena
- Learning is Fun and Engaging (LIFE Day) for the P3 kids
- Learning journey to Kampong Glam for the P3 kids
- Racial Harmony Day concert
- Shopping trip with Xian

The kids were really adorable during the learning journey... Especially Kerina and Claudia who stuck to me throughout the trip. They sheltered me with their umbrellas when it rained, helped me chose a costume for racial harmony day, took photos with me, ate the same ice cream as me etc... They were pretty upset when they heard that I will be leaving next Friday and asked for my email address to keep in touch with me. Besides the class of 3 Courage, I will also miss some of the boys in 6 Loyalty. Jerron asked me to join them for recess on Tuesday and Issac got so excited upon seeing me, that he spilled his laksa. =.= Which almost got onto my white dress.

I bought skinny jeans, jacket [yes, another one], tank tops, shampoo etc during our shopping trip. Xian and I realised that we have been spending quite alot almost every other week. I was beginning to worry about depleting my bank balance, when my mom passed me a letter from NIE. Whee! I qualified for the stipend in years 3 and 4! Which means that MOE will pay me $5,000 each year instead of having no pay at all! But the bad thing is, the liquidated damage has been increased by $10,000 to $111,725.51.

In other news, I fractured my toe. Don't ask me how. T-T

Had a small gathering with two of the TTBF girls on Friday and we did what we do best - s-h-o-p-p-i-n-g. I really need to curb my spendings. There doesn't seem to be a time when I don't end up with bags and bags of items after a shopping trip. Considering the fact that my last pay is on the coming 12th of the month, there is an impending sense of doom.

We did some catching up at Breeks, but it was soooo noisy in the restaurant, that we decided to leave early. Xian's enrollment in NIE has been confirmed! We can see each other more during the school term then. The ttbf girl kept referring to me as her xue jie [senior]. Bleah.
