I really enjoyed this story. I had read it once before but somehow lost the link, couldn't remember the title, or the author name. Fortunately, I was able to do a search on Heliopolis and even more fortunate, this story was in the first results that came back. Plus, your summary was enough for me to realize that this was the story I had been wanting to find again.

I bookmarked it so I shouldn't lose it again...LOL!

Oh my! And entire year!!! No, I can't imagine that anymore as I am on here daily whether it is for a few minutes or a few hours. In any case, I hope to see more stories from you soon. I have read your gen stories many times!

That has got to be one of the more haunting last lines I've ever read. I love this story more every time I read it. Good job!

Once I started this story I couldn't stop. Excellent descriptions and the ending, with that last line, broke my heart. Great story!
