Basic Info BioTathlin is a fictional character in the Gondolin RPG. She is played by me. The opinions expressed in this journal are not my own, they are fictional and for roleplaying purposes only.

Name: Tathlin

Biography:
Tathlin is the elder of two daughters; she and her sister Minuial are as different as day and night. Tathlin likes to dance, sing and play the flute and harp, and to paint or be model for paintings. She loves to dress extravagantly and often tries to pretend to be older and more mature than she really is. She is the darling of her parents; the well-earning traders try to fulfil her every wish, which – naturally – has made her quite a spoiled young lady. But in turn, she also tries to please her parents, spends a lot of time studying and generally pretending to be a little angel (which she is certainly not). Most of the time, she successfully makes her younger sister the scapegoat when she actually has caused trouble, which happens more often than she would like to admit.
She is rather high-strung and arrogant, has only little patience and can get really nasty when she does not get what she wants.
Tathlin rarely engages in outdoor activities other than walks through the city or riding - though she would never groom her horse herself, or clean the stable – she could get dirty (- she hates dirt and also would never move a finger to help in the household).
She is afraid of dogs, especially sister's, because she is convinced of the ridiculous fact that they are nothing but wolves that are sly enough to pretend to be friendly and will one day attack their owners – especially her sister’s, which she thinks will one day attack her.
She loves Minuial, even though she is a tomboy and interested in things Tathlin would never think of – and especially now, she would never show her affection to her, since they have both become rivals in trying to woo Ilverin on whom Tathlin had set her attentions. Lately, though, she has entertained the thought of becoming the Lady of one of the Great Houses. With most of the Lords taken, she decided to settle for Salgant before the chance for ladyship slips through her fingers completely.
