Audiogalaxy part 2

For the last few months I've been having problems with my Droid X getting a corrupted SD card. It would start messing up random gallery images, then it started "performing surgery" on my MP3's, transplanting small segments from song to song.

I thought the music thing was kinda silly until one day I was listening to some ambient piano baloney and all of the sudden holy shit high-energy eurobeat buchiage garbage ahhhhh (darn you, Super Star Mitsuruuuuu)

After a few weeks of dealing with it and having trouble with TuneIn and Pandora, I looked into "is there any way to stream music from my computer to my phone?" Sho 'nuff, there's Audiogalaxy.

The funny thing is, I used to use Audiogalaxy Satellite back in the '00-'02 era all the time. Back then, it was a P2P client, right before the RIAA killed everybody. Same company! It's awesome.

The best part about this music program is its "Genie", kinda like Pandora's system of selecting new songs, but Genie focuses more on albums and artists. I queued up one IIDX artist, and Genie eventually went through a series of related artists a couple songs at a time. There would be 10-15 song stretches of "oh must be the program's (xyz artist) phase, lol". I also like hearing stuff come up that I didn't even know I had.

So yes, highly recommended. A+++
