Just found out that Grant McLennan died in his sleep.

Astonishing. Forty nine years old and he dies in his sleep? For years, The Go Betweens were one of my favourite bands. Download 'Bachelor Kisses' or 'Cattle and Cane' for proof of McLennan's genius, or buy 'Liberty Belle and The Black Diamond Express' .

Anyway, another brilliant man slips away and the world has no idea. Just thought I'd do my own bit to mark it.
