Charlie White. Fear, sex, puppets.

Dagnabbit, I love Charlie White. Ever since I first saw In A Matter Of days, I've been a fan of his work, and this short piece is so good that I've decided to break my 'no viral' rule for it.

If thou diggest that, you'll probably like his sadscary video for Interpol's Evil (second link on the page). Man, if all Interpol's songs were this good, they'd be the greatest band in the world.

Here's a link to his site, too, if you're still with me.

Fun fact! This short Wired article points out that the 'Fleming' photo from 'In A Matter Of Days' was modelled on The Raft of The Medusa.

Just out of interest and sheer cheek, why do you operate a "no viral" rule?

I feel that advertising, like funography, is a form of cultural pollution. That said, I have directed adverts in the past (needed the money, and probably will again) but I won't help spread them about the web.

If all ads were like that Charlie White cut, I'd look forward to my inter-programme dose of cultural pollution!

You just can't beat a good old-fashioned creepy puppet. Chucky. Fats. Eh...Basil Brush.

Apparently, Interpol fans have taken to calling Charlie's puppet 'Norman'. Kinda suits him.

Here's a link for non-Windows/Realplayer users. Don't mention it.
