The prize of an madey-up-type mention on the 'IT Crowd' commentary goes to Bergenboi (Salad Ogudrev?...I'd better get this right). His excellent effort was the only one that made me bark with laughter. Well done, sir!

I had much the same reaction. Well done, sir.

Also seeing as the prize was related to The IT Crowd it seems fitting that the winner used an internet-based gag, no?

hi graham,

just found about about this, you may have seen it before, but i got very excited. Its made up of 10, 9 minute videos and is an 'add on' i suppose to Anchorman made of bits that they didn't use (thats how i understand it anyway).

Well done winner, I personally didn't get the joke, but we don't get SNL in Australia so I haven't seen many episodes. I'm sure it worked perfectly, good job :)

It was actually the "IT Crowd Series 2 DVD" in the post that got my attention, I'm unbelievably excited about seeing series 2. I haven't been this excited since I found out there was a third series of Black Books (I nearly went home early from work, I was so happy!).

The photos of the new sets look brilliant on the official site, it makes sense that they would redecorate it, I'm guessing Jen had a big role in that. She did, after all, spend all of series 1 trying desperately to get Roy and Moss to clean up the basement :)

I've actually watched series 1 3 times this week, I showed it to my girlfriend for the first time (she works in tech support), she thought it was fantastic. Then I watched the extra features again. Then I watched the commentaries for the first time. I felt so inspired that I built this site last night:

Graham, you were very harsh on yourself in the commentaries for some of your 'mistakes' in series 1, but it sounded like you were jumping at the chance to go back and fix them in series 2. Your enthusiasm rubbed off on me, hence why I made that site :P

Keep up the fantastic work, and now I have another interesting blog to read! Thanks once again for the many many laughs over the years, here's to many more!

If only I could afford pay TV to watch SNL, but the price is outrageous here in Australia. However I'm proud to say I've visited the SNL sets at NBC in New York, it was just after they had rebuilt them for HDTV, towards the end of 2005. They repainted everything to make it look more realistic, even added giant plasma screens for the audience!
Unfortunately no cameras were allowed inside, so this is the only photo I got:

By the way, THANKYOU for bringing Noel back in series 2! He was one of the highlights of the series, like you said in the commentary it's funny when you imagine that he was sitting in that tiny room the whole time :)
