And like me, he hates water
If there's one thing I love, it's comics. If there's one thing I hate, it's webcomics.
There are a few that are extremely good--Achewood, Dinosaur Comics, Alien Loves Predator and of course, anything by David Rees--all of them are great (except when they're not great, but even then they're pretty good) but the vast majority are grim, grim grim, most of them looking like they were created using the same 'make-your-own-online-comic' software.
Joining those on the worth-a-damn side of the fence is Robert Sergel who a) can draw b) has something to say and c) can be pretty funny. His work reminds me a little bit of Adrian Tomine's stuff except with fewer cute indie girls.
