If you're annoyed by these new crosspost comment options and you don't want them in your journal, here is a quick and painless way to get rid of them, posted by tod_hollykim (who apparently got the code from delaese; not sure of the original source).

After that, you can go fill out this poll (which is being monitored by LJ staff) to let them know how you feel about the new feature.  There is also another, similar poll over here.
