So, I think
hils may've just talked me into writing RPS.
Actually... I think I talked myself into writing RPS.
Matthew Fox/Josh Holloway, to be exact.
...
Damn it, how the hell did this happen?
O.o
*cough*
...
*...adds research for this fic to giant 'to do' list*
(It's 6pm Eastern time. Which means it's 11-o-clock in the UK, and midnight in Germany. I wonder how many people will actually see this post.)

i keep forgetting your journal's friends-locked...
And I might have written some RPS back in the day, so I wouldn't say anything anyway. You live an empty life ;)
If only I'd thought to look at Supes's entry tags before I'd commented. *facepalm*
In that case your life has meaning again ;)
they're lost actors (which i guess you've already figured out, lol). and yes, matt used to be to be on party of five [not that i watched], at which point he was actually a bit cuter. but i think he's still pretty foxy.*
josh actually guest-starred on angel once:
he was the young vamp from angel's past in "heartthrob"...no, wait, no he wasn't. i guess he was just a random vampire in "city of..."anyway... i so want to try to get you to watch lost, now. eee. i was already supposed to try to get you to watch queer as folk, darn it (which would be hard enough in itself, i'm sure**). *hides*
*don't have an uploaded josh icon, so sticking with matt*
also, i totally want to read that, now. *evil*
*ok, i couldn't resist the bad pun. *is duly ashamed*
** *tries not to giggle at the word "hard" in this context* ***

Hee, my HP RPS isn't online anymore. I used to keep it in a secret journal, but I deleted it about a year ago. It was for the best, honestly. It wasn't very good RPS. :D
as for lost, i have to admit, i wasn't that into it when i started watching it either. it took me quite a while to get interested enough to actually watch it regularly; and if you're only catching bits now and then, it's impossible to keep up with the plot as fast-paced as it is, so that made it even harder.
but finally i did end up consistently watching, possibly because there was nothing on at the time... and, well. if you watch enough eventually it just really draws you in and it's hard to stop. though, i do think it actually is a very interesting, intriguing plot — even if it'd be hard to explain why, without either retelling the whole thing or turning to cliches — but i guess it just takes a while to get into. ok, maybe not for everyone... but in my experience, anyway.
well, let's just say you gotta love a good suspense drama, right? (gack. that was cliche, wasn't it?) well, i also really like how intricate and interconnected it all is, and the complex, involved backstories everyone has... (i always adore a good flashback scene. buffy taught me to.)
and then of course it doesn't hurt sawyer being there, being so gorgeously screwed-up and anti-hero-ish,* not to mention quite the sight to look at. plus the hotness and the pretty angst of him and kate, and the lip-bitingly delicious ust between him and jack...** but i don't want to just sound like i watch shows/read books/follow whatever for the mere sake of attractive characters or sexy pairings. because that would just be terribly shallow.
*he is so my new spike (not that i love the old spike any less, mind). i was just saying that to
**yes, i'm a little torn. though, officially, kate/sawyer is my otp.
