H/Hr, because... I don't know, really. It was in my head (Reading
fabularasa might've had something to do with it). And some H/D, too, 'cause... well, it was also in my head. And, because I like to make people happy. ;)Harry Potter
1) Hermione runs her fingers through untidy strands of hair, lightly traces the puckered outline of a scar, and she reminds herself that black is really no worse than red, that emerald green is just as good as baby blue.
2) Nemesis: that was the only way he'd describe Potter... but was there ever, Draco thought, a sexier word?
3) When her fingers are stained with ink, hair rumpled and uniform askew, when there's shadows under her eyes from studying all night — those are the moments when she's truly Hermione; those are the ones Harry finds most beautiful of all.
Now, should I add some non-HP ones for the other half of my f'list? Guess I ought to, if I expect more than one person to actually read these... Besides, I'd promised to do PotC ones too, didn't I?

(One of these is for
drbillbongo, who is a doll and whom I really hope to see on AIM again soon!)1) Some would say it is impossible to fall in love at eleven; but if that's true, Will thinks he must have loved this girl since before he was born.
2) He was used to it by now: his two lieutenants both so full of ambition, constantly vying for his approval... but there were times like these, if only mere moments, when Norrington wondered whether it was simply his approval Groves and Gillette were vying for.
3) By morning James found himself no longer able to close his mouth properly, as if at some point in the night his jaw had come unhinged; that or his sanity, evidenced by the fact that it was Jack Sparrow he could still taste down his throat.
Now, just to make things a little interesting...
I don't know if anyone will want to do this, but I thought it might be fun: give me up to three characters/pairings (as long as the characters aren't too obscure), and I will try to write a sentence drabble for each next time I do these. Feel free to ask for the same thing as someone else, in which case I'll do more than one. The fandoms you can choose from are BtVS/Angel, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lost, Everwood, Desperate Housewives, and Joan of Arcadia.
Please don't ask if you're not gonna give feedback, though — it's only fair. :)

1) Hmm... Now this one brings a few things to mind. Makes me think either post-war and Ron's died, so Hermione goes to Harry - or, Ron's found someone else and Hermione is trying to work past it. In either case, to me it sort of implies R/Hr in one way or another, with Hermione settling for Harry.
2) Hee :) A sexy word, indeed... And I can just see Draco's evil little leer at the end, there.
3) Now this one if pure H/Hr. The imagery is very pretty, even if I'm not fond of the pairing.

of course, when i wrote it, i think i was actually thinking along the lines of hermione starting to go out with harry and then realizing she likes ron (or possibly that ron likes her, if she already liked him but gave up on him), but she doesn't want to hurt harry so she keeps it bottled up and stays with him (sort of an 'oz/willow vs. xander/willow' type deal). of course, harry would be utterly clueless in either scenario. though in the first one he would be feeling the platonic grief for his best friend, obviously -- just not realize that his girlfriend is still in love with him.
damn. now i almost wanna write this...

see, i've wanted to do more queer as folk ones, but i feel like my sense of that universe is lacking with only having seen half the first season -- i don't want to end up with something completely contradictory to canon. that's why i didn't include it in the choice of fandoms, this time.

Well, you could always use the disclaimer that you've only seen the first season - then have at it. That way, if you do step on any canon-toes, you're not liable ;)

i considered it, but was afraid my knowledge of the show was too weak since i'd stopped watching and that people might ask for stuff i couldn't deliver on. that's also why i didn't put gilmore girls -- i wanted to, but there are too many characters i'm not sure i have a handle on.
