PDX, your free wireless makes you the best airport ever.
Reedies, take it easy while I'm gone. Don't let the bubble get you down. Don't stress yourselves out too much. Please?
Sav, sorry I left my bike in the living room. If you want to shove it in my room while I'm gone, feel free.

Going home for a week or so. It's always fun to look at people on pdx/lax flights and try to guess who's LA and who's Portland. I wonder what people think I am.

To do while I'm gone: 1) wear sandals. 2) take long bike rides every day and come back ready to bike 18 miles straight
and a bunch of other stuff but they're calling my flight. aahaaaaaaaahhhhhh

Oh my god. Someone translated the bible into lolcat.
www.lolcatbible.com
It's still raining in Portland, but today I'm wearing rainboots. Thanks, Brenny.

Funny how the shortest trip home ended up being the longest trip back.
Never in my life have I wanted to be back in Portland so bad...

Thanksgiving at the Miracle was a surprising success. The assortment of people, although random as hell, ended up being kind of perfect. We had a mother, a father, a little brother, a cousin, a crazy drunckle, some chefs, lots and lots of friends and strays, and a president to baptize us in lager.
At 3:15 when nothing was actually done, it started to look iffy. At 4:15 when still nothing was done, it looked even iffier, but somehow it turned out all right and the table didn't collapse and there was enough beer to go around and now the kitchen's a mess but who cares because there's no school for three days and only one more quest and michelle's in town until saturday we might even make it to voodoo tonight for real this time!
And completely passing out on a couch with five other people sprawled out on top of and around you is the best way to end any holiday.
