It's weird. I've grown my hair out longer than this since first shaving it without thinking about it.
But since I'm consiously trying to grow it I'm having a hard time.
You know when you're used to looking at yourself a certain way. Seeing my relection in my bedroom mirror in the morning after getting dressed just doesn't look right. I'm not identifying with the person I see.
It freaks me out a bit, I mean, it's only me with a tiny bit of hair... But it happens every time it grows. I generally wake up, shower, get dressed, feel weird and then go back and shave and wash my head in the sink.... I don't think I've ever planned on shaving my head. I just get a weird feeling looking at myself and then shave.
Have I developed some kind of complex?
I mean, people get attached to having hair, long hair, bangs, certain little things... Am I just so used to being without it that... I'm not... comfortable... with it?
As interested as I am in seeing what I look like with hair, is it really going to be worth months of me hating what I look like? |

Behind the cut are some pictures of a very lucky little baby cat, who I named Tallulah-Moon. I found her on the full moon night, August 16th, while driving home from work. She was found in the Bankhead Tunnel in Mobile, Alabama. Believe it or not, she was sleeping on the ledge of the tunnel. I went through, turned around and did a U-ey, then put on my hazards and slowly came through the tunnel. Luckily there was no oncoming or traffic behind me, so I put on my parking break and got out... and sure enough it was a kitten that was still alive. She stole my heart.

He's my brothers cat, a Maine Coon and is the most nicest cat I have ever met. He never will bite or scratch or get angry in general, he is such a sweet cat. |

It's been a couple of years since I posted here. I love seeing everyone's beautiful babies and decided to share a few pics of one of my babies. He's a 5 month old Bengal kitten and his name is Ramses (like the Egyptian pharaoh). ♥

| Kitten Update - One Week! |

This has been the best work week EVER. So many people at my office are dedicated to the welfare of the kittens and their mom.

This is my last day in the office for a week. (Two vacation days, then I'm working in a different location for three days next week.) I've never been so sad to take time away! |

Hi all,
I'm new to this community, but I've been sewing for a while. I was hoping that some of you might be able to suggest places (probably on the internet) that I could find cotton jersey, or cotton/lycra jersey fabric in a wide range of colors. I want to make some tee-shirts and wrap-dresses and the like, and all my usual fabric sources seem to have no good colors!

I've been on Loestrin 24 for about 2 years. I'm "scheduled" to have my period during a visit from a friend of mine. I really don't want to get it then. I've read that people skip their periods by just continuing onto the next pack instead of taking the iron pills. Has anyone who's on Loestrin 24 ever done this? Did it work? |
