End of my extremely long break that is. 9 months it has been since I was last in school and studying for something, anything. Oh except for driving tests of course. Those were done at home, on the bed, with me falling asleep halfway. Actually, that sounds like when I was in school too which is probably why I did not do so well... Nonetheless, looking forward to having some brain stimulating activities and lessons! Also, this would be a good chance to explore the unfamiliar urban jungle known as.....the West side. Friends come in handy at times like these, thank goodness I have a few already or else it'd be primary 1 all over again. Although I have been bumming around for the past month and a half, it has not been completely unproductive for Amanda Ho! I am so glad I got to experience a taste of working life in the internships I've had, they will definitely remind me not to grow up too fast. Met so many new people and learned so many new things, people and things that I will be sure to treasure (cos they might come in handy one day har har har). Goodbye watching tv shows till morning then waking up in the afternoon the next day! Goodbye just being on the net for hours on end looking at useless junk(except maybe weekends and public holidays)! Goodbye not worrying about studies and grades and notes! Half excited and half scared, I bid you ado some version of freedom! And Helloooooo Stress...

It's getting closer and closer. Before I know it, I would be out and about being busy like normal people. And if I look back on my time, I would've seen that I have done little for the last month. Which was what I partly set out to do. It's always the same old story. Dream about doing things, then not doing them. Think that there's alot of time, then realising time's up. Just hope it's not a cycle to be repeated throughout my life. It has been nice while it lasted, and it's not to say I haven't been productive at all. Time to make more lists! I love lists. Now I'm hungry. |

Two people in my house have H1N1 and I'm still going strong. Go Me!!! Pops makes me drink some weird ass herbal drink that supposedly prevents H1N1 though. Hold your breath and gulp it down. Yuck. About 3/4 of my room has been organised. Shall finish the rest tomorrow. No more hoarding! It's minimalism from here on out. Fighting!!! |
