Saw Charlie yesterday afternoon with my sister and her friend Mariah. Funny movie. Somehow, Johnny Depp reminded me of Michael Jackson in that movie... with the pale skin, and the high cheekbones, and how his voice got so soft and almost wispy at times... Hilarious. I kept leaning over to my sister's friend and whispering things like, "Oh, look, now he wants to take the little boy back to the factory without the parents!"
Random Quote:
Me: "Man, I wish I were Johnny Depp just so I could dress like that. Awesome."
Mariah: "You just wish you were Johnny Depp."
Me: "Yeah! Oh my god!! I would totally have sex with myself!!"
Mariah: "I DON'T KNOW YOU! Get away from me, weirdo! I don't know this person!!"
*grins* Hot Topic had coats like the ones from the movie. I want it THIIIIIS MUUUUUUCH, even though it's too hot to wear it. And it's $65. x.x I think that movie was the first and only time I've seen a popped collar look cool.
Blargh, I miss the west coast. I wish I were going to school out there, but it's so ungodly expensive. Even if I stayed with my dad for breaks, he won't be there forever. Eventually, I'll have to fly to either VA, or wherever my dad's living. 'Cause I wouldn't have a car, it'd never last through the drive.
And I'll never be able to afford to live out there after college. So I'm stuck in ugly, muggy VA. Right by stuffy old D.C. The most serious city in the country. You know what I have to look forward to after college? Suits, commuting through some of the country's worst traffic, and going to bed early so I can get up and do it all over again. In two and a half years, I'll be /old/. I'll have joined all the old people in suits who give themselves aneurysms pretending they're important.
Has school started yet? I've got a /lot/ of partying to do, to make up for this.
