| Bio: |  A Musical Ride into my life: Childhood I grew up listening to The Carpenters, Queen, Elton John, The Eagles, Now I understand that those were signs of me being a gay guy. Later Came The Police, B-52's, Supertramp, Journey, Foreigner and the like; rock started to appear in my life, a gay rocker??. Adolescent Then around 16 a friend at school introduced me to Kiss, and my life changed. Soon I discover bands and noticed the difference between Rock (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin); Progressive Rock (Rush, Pink Floyd, Genesis); Punk (Sex Pistols, The Clash, Plasmatics); Adult Contemporary (Alan Parsons, Cat Stevens); and also Pop (Beatles, Chicago, Billy Joel). All this made me realize that music was my life. Teen-adult: the 80's In my mid-20's hard rock became my life (Def Leppard, Iron Maiden; Black Sabbath; Motley Crue; Judas Priest -Ooh, Rob-; Queensryche; Twisted Sister) later the music got heavier and dirty (Metallica; Pantera; Guns 'n Roses; Mercyful Fate) always exploring and discovering new feelings. Young adult: the 90's In the 90's I was introduced to Alternative rock (The Smiths; Bjork; Stone Temple Pilots; The Cure -actually since 1986-; Red Hot Chilippepers) Grunge (Nirvana; Pearl Jam) always knowing I was gay (this always surprised people, not beacuse of my homosexuality, but because being one I liked these hard music) I started to go out to gay bars listening to Electronic and Dance music (Depeche Mode; Madonna; 2 Unlimited) This degenerated later into a mix of Rock and Electronic, which is Industrial Music (Skinny Puppy; Ministry; Marylin Manson; NIN) Rock en español made a big entrance in the late 80's (Caifanes; Soda Stereo; Heroes del Silencio; Maldita vecindad; Fobia; Santa Sabina; Mecano and Cafe tacvba beside many others) The best part of it is that I wasn't going trought stages in life, but discovering new things, and getting to know that I am an open-minded person, this helped me to adapt to a lot of things and situations in life, in those days and now. Adult in the 00's After that I moved to Montréal, Canada in 1997; a new world of music opened wide in front of me, French music that I've never heard before (Beau Dommage, Harmonium, Mylène Farmer and Celine beside many others) and some others that are popular right now (except hip-hop; I don't like it) Since I am partened with Jeff I started to make friends with people from france; they introduced me to new french artists (La Grande Sophie, Alain Suchon, Thomas Fersen, Renaud, Yann Tiersen and Laurent Voulzy -who I used to hear back in Guadalajara-) And also discover new things on my own (Death Cab for Cutie, Anthony and the Johnsons, Fischerspooner, The Decemberists, The Killers, Scissor Sisters, The Postal Service, Sufjan Stevens and many others) I still listen to a lot of the music listed which is the soundtrack to my life.
