grue_some and the Corinthian, as an army to fight in a war between her and others hoping to take her position. She won the war, but lost this particular army in battle. Their new master has offered them a new job, and thanks to him, they've gone quite off on their own. The perceptive will know their nature as both Endless and Eldritch, and meeting one alone feels rather like viewing a giant squid through a keyhole.
They live on madness, consuming it through the eyes and leaving theirvictim donor particularly sane. Until it grows back, because madness is perfidious that way. If you're crazy, they'll smell it. They prefer human madness, but any species'll do. They've had Hastur Hastur Hastur, they can handle anything.
