Why do I feel like this time you trying to sugar coat it again.
I know it's me being insecure but it feels like you want nothing to do with me.
It's selfish but I want you to prove it, I want you to prove you miss me and I want you to prove that those things you said before you meant.
Maybe it was all a pretense, we've lost touch, I thought you said we wouldn't do that.
You said you never had a friend like me, you say that it was awesome being with me. Why can't I feel that anymore.

Supernatural Convention

Was waiting in line to get autographs from AJ, Travis, Jake and Misha Collins at the supernatural con in Vancouver. (In that order)

So I make my way to Misha who is eating sushi and I say, "Hey that looks pretty tasty," and he says "Yeah, want some?" I say "Really? Seriously?" and he nods and tilts the thing of sushi towards me so I can pick.

When I pick he says "Good choice, but it's a mouthful so I guess you won't be able to speak." I chew quickly and am able to talk to him about how it seems like all Angels in TV or Movies seem to wear trench coats, he agrees. Just before the conversation finishes I say "Yeah so Angel + Trench coat =..." Unable to finish my sentence cause I realize I screwed it up, Misha finishes it for me and says " = Angel in a movie."

Then I say goodbye and finish the rest of my...MISHA COLLINS' SUSHI!

I also told Travis that he looked more muscle-y in real life than he did on TV...and then began to blush like a mad-woman.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester [Part 2]

Here it is! The extremely late-coming part 2 of It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester [the Remake]

A quick recap of where we left off: Sam and Dean we're speaking with Mrs. Wallace about the strange events the surrounded the death of her husband. While Sam spoke with her in the living room, Dean scanned the kitchen with the EMF meter - which reacted off the charts. Ghost, definitely a big nasty ghost.

Same day

"Fuck." Sam rubbed his forehead, once again he'd hit the door frame of the car, being tall had its advantages but Sam was pretty sure if he made it to forty years old, he'd have severe brain damage due to repeated head trauma caused by door frames. He grabbed the duffel bag full of book from the car and made his way to their motel room, still rubbing his forehead.

Sam made sure to duck more than he needed to as he walked through the doorway, "You know you could help with unloading the car, Dean." Sam shouted, he chucked the books on to the nearest bed at the same time Dean appeared out of the washroom he'd changed out of his suit and back into his regular clothes.

"I'll be back," Dean said the minute he saw Sam, "got a thing to do." Dean picked up his keys and dropped them into his pocket, which had two twenty dollar bills he'd snaked from Sam earlier. "Won't be long, try not to miss me." Dean added while turning the door knob and disappearing out the door.

Sam blinked, even if he spent another four years, 24/7 with his brother he was positive that he would never understand how it was that Dean was able to change clothes so quickly, he hadn't even been in the room for more than four minutes and from what Sam could see looking into the bathroom, Dean had managed to undress, hang up the suit and put on his regular clothes and boots in that short time.

Sam took out his laptop and turned it on, then walked over to the counter where the coffee maker sat. When Dean went on these little errands it was the only time Sam dared to make tea, a habit he'd picked up at college after suffering the effects of severe coffee hangover during exam week. When Dean last saw him drink tea there were no end to the comments comparing Sam to British old ladies for about a month.

The chime of Windows operating system rung out in the quiet of the room, Sam smiled savoring these moments when he could enjoy the simple pleasures he was often deprived of. Sam dropped a tea bag into a mug of boiling water and carried it over to the table where his laptop sat. He opened a new Microsoft word document and began to type out the information that they'd collected from Mrs. Wallace, since about three years ago when Sam had to get a new laptop he had started documenting and recording all of their cases, just the way their dad.

He grabbed the duffel bag full of books and placed next to his laptop, most of the books had various stamps from libraries all over the country. Sam couldn't help feeling a little guilty every time he looked at the unreturned books. One long car ride Sam spent the time calculating how much money they owed all these libraries based on the various return dates. It was more $2000. Some of the other books were from Bobby's collection with little scribbles written between the margins and lines of the text. Bobby's handwriting as well as Sam's dad's.

Sam blindly picked one up, normally he'd say this was a regular run of the mill ghost but from what Dean had said about the EMF reader freaking out and the fact that he'd never heard of a ghost being able to stick razor blades into candy. Ghost was actually the last thing expected for the razor blade in candy urban legend.

First thing he had to do was find out if there were anything in the area which could have screwed with the EMF's reading. Sam tried calling up the cities hydro department and sweet talked a secretary into finding out if there were any electrical problems or hydro wires being replaced, which there were none of in Mrs. Wallace's area.

Sam closed his cellphone just as Dean burst through the door carrying a bag of candy in his right hand and chewing on gummy vampire-teeth. Dean slammed the door behind him and with his mouth full he shouted, "Howdy Sammy, nose to the grindstone already? Dork."

Just because your twins doesn't mean you have to be all sexy about it....

So, I'm sick. Sick and watching movies.

The movie I just so happen to be watching is Hellboy II: The Golden Army, basic story is ancient truce between humans and fairy/mythic-type folk -> mainly just these albino-like things that are called elves and speak in high-prose.
Anyways this truce was established after a long war and the king of the elves felt bad about killing a whole bunch of humans. Anyways the king had to children, Prince Nuada and Prince Nuala.
When we first see them together there obviously some sort of deep brother-sisterly connection going on. Kind of like the sort of thing you might expect in oh say Twelfth Night, Hamlet, or other stories.
Long gazes into each others eyes, tragic undertones in the words they speak to one another...blah blah blah, crap crap crap.

As the story progress, the brother ends up tracking his sister down, because she has something he needs and she ran away. She has been hiding out in BPRD - frolicking in their lovely library when POOF her brother has found her - because obviously he would since they are linked because they are twins!
:P

BUT WHY! WHY! DOES HE HAVE TO STROKE HER CHEEK AND MAKE COMMENTS LIKE "Our father always tried to shield your heart from me." WHILE HE PLACES HIS HAND ON TOP OF HER HEART!
I'm sure you all know that a heart is located in the chest. BUT. For women our heart is located in our chest under our breasts.
So yeah, way to cope a feel from your sister and way to let your brother cope a feel. NOW STOP LOOKING AT EACH OTHER LIKE THAT.

(there's more on screen chemistry between her and her brother, than her and her supposed love-interest.

25° South

I have decided to use my Livejournal as I should. I will no longer refrain from posting about all the obscure pop culture topics that I randomly notice or come up with. Well sometimes I do use it for that, but not nearly as often as I should.

Now for today.
So I was watching Trueblood, you know that show on HBO which rivals the series Rome for the amount of sex and random nudity they show. It's about vampires, right. I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about.

Well there's this one fella on it, goes by the name Eric Northam - he's a vamp. I lovely vamp, actually seems to be the Vampire Sheriff of Area 5 (I won't go into how ridiculous that is.)

Anyways, so I was watching episode 9, you know the episode where he gets Sookie to help him figure out who stole the 60,000$ from the bar when I noticed it - His head is always at an approximately 75° angle from his shoulders.

That is if we were to stay a 90° angle was when someone kept their head straight, like you know - normal people.

Always! Seriously! I swear!

Except for maybe once when he's trying to get Bill to admit he's in love with Sookie but then it quickly reverts back the the 75-ish° angle...and maybe one other time. BUT OTHER THAN THAT 75°!

<lj-embed id="2" />

In case you need a reference, I have provided you with this picture.

Who knew!? [the Hard Rock Addition]

Okay, so I enjoy my hard rock, heavy metal and classic rock.
As such I have come to accept that the front men, guitar players, bassists and drummers of these bands are generally going to be rather unappealing looking...

When Metallica first started out, people have admitted to buying it because the kids on the cover of the album were pretty, damn ugly.

And what about this guy? Sure he has the same body he did when he was 20, but he also has the same face he had when he was 20...and that's not good.

I could go on, Ozzy Osbourne, Justin Hawkins from The Darkness, Dee Snider from Twister Sister, Alice Cooper, the entire band of ACDC.

Don't get me wrong, I know rock isn't suppose to be pretty. I love ACDC to death, Dee Snider is awesome for standing up in a Senate hearing, the Darkness make me laugh and Alice cooper is a classic. Ozzy Osbourne can be kind of adorable, Iggy Pop is a genius, and Metallica is the first opening band that was cheered for more than the band it was headlining.

But they're fuggly and I accept it.

Then...I found Skid Row and met their frontman <strike>with seriously cheesetastic name,</strike> Sebastian Bach.

I mean like! WHAT THE SHIT?!

<strike>...no, there is more pretty rockers, i know that, but he's just alarmingly so.</strike>

...Oh yeah, this maybe image heavy for you.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester [part 1]

It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester [the Remake]

One day before Halloween

The red pools and splatter had become a brownish blotch, brightly visible on the white linoleum floor, that Dean hopped over in a manner more careful than normal. It was long since Dean had been convinced by Sam to invest money in black dress shoes, since Sam had claimed that no FBI agent ever wandered around in dirt brown boots. Dean peered into cupboards and under the fridge as he wandered around the kitchen while Sam calmly questioned the widow who only a day ago had been the wife of a living breathing Luke Wallace.

“How many razorblades did they find?” Sam asked his tone smooth and comforting.

“Two on the floor, one in his stomach,” the widow said. Her voice made it clear she was on the verge of tears, she looked up into Sam’s eyes, “and one was stuck in his throat. He swallowed four of them, how come he didn’t notice.” Dean was only half listening to the conversation, it wasn’t so much that he was relying on Sam to be taking notes it was that he knew Sam always took notes. He pulled the oven door open and peered inside, breathing deep as the wafting smell of homecooked meatloaf flooded his nostrils.

“I never put the candy in the oven,” said the widow bluntly, looking over at Dean with a confused and almost insulted stare. Dean’s eye shifted from her to Sam.

“We’re just try to be thorough, Mrs. Wallace.” Dean said after a short pause, it wasn’t like he could explain that he was looking for a hex bag.

“So, did the police find razors in the rest of the candy?” Sam said trying to distract the woman away from Dean’s behaviour, which was undoubtedly unusual for an FBI agent.

“No…uh, yes- I don’t know. Shouldn’t they have told you this?” Mrs. Wallace said, covering her face with her hands. Ignoring her own question, “I can’t believe this. You hear of this happening, but they are only suppose to be urban legends,” she muttered.

Dean got on his hands and looked under the sink, he could hear the stitches of the seams on his suit tear ever so slightly, it was an old suit and there was a reason why plumbers were baggy jeans and t-shirts. There was nothing, no sulphur, no hex bags, no trace of demons or witches. If the woman was right her husband had only eaten two candies, how could that many razors be stuck in only two candies. Dean stood back up and he threw his arms up in defeat, catching Sam’s eye.

“Um, was anything strange happening before this happened?” Sam asked, clearly unsure of how best to ask the next few questions, Mrs. Wallace’s own confusion was apparent as well. “I mean, did he talk about anything strange, seeing anything strange or any problems?”

“What are you talking about? What has that got to do with any of this?” She said, once again sounding defensive, as she drew her house coat tighter around her body. Over her shoulder Dean signalled to Sam, as he drew the EMF reader out of his pocket. “Here how about we go to the living room, maybe you’d like to sit down.” Sam said, Mrs. Wallace quickly disappeared from the kitchen. More than willing to leave the scene where he husband had died.

The moment Sam and the widow were out of earshot, Dean flicked on his makeshift EMF reader. An ear pitching ringing sung out, the red lights flashing full force. Dean didn’t need to move or scan the area, he flicked the reader off, and then back on again just to make sure. Again the ear pitching ring and bright lights lit up.

Sensitive nipples!

<lj-embed id="1" />

God I love this man!
He made me laugh, I haven't laughed that way for a good long time.
Unfortunately this is not the video where he talks about his nipples.

The hardest thing about working as Jason for Derek Mears was the full body prosthetics in the hot summer heat.
Apparently caused a lot of heat rash. Specially around the nipples.

"That's real tough eh, 'hmm the new Jason has sensitives nipples.'"

Dear Supernatural...

Hello my dear friends, I have come to you while I watch the re-run of the episode of "It's The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester."

I have a few things to say, though I respect their attempt at doing a halloween episode since they have never done so before...they are several things that kinda bugged me.

1) Samhain, is pronounced [Sah-win], even though your american - you're veteran hunters who knows lots and lots of stuff about ancient folklore from all around the world - you should know how to say the name!

2) Samhain was not a demon nor a diety in the celtic religion. It's true, even though some think so and there are a few rumours, it is just a holiday. It's a day of celebration and the passing of the year.

3) You could have done soooo good with it being some sort of other kind of demon/witch, make it up even but not Samhain, but continue with the halloween urban legends - that's both old-school supernatural and classic among people everywhere.

So, encouraged by my mother, I will take it upon myself to re-do their halloween episode. I will keep the same sort of premise - by that I mean the angels will still rant, Dean and Sam will still need to stop the seal from breaking, Sam will still end up using his powers to stop the big-scary thing, and lastly Dean versus the astronaut will still appear.

But I will write it how it should have been written.

Why didn't you end there!

Oh Smallville! You were so close at actually impressing me. At actually making me want to take back some or maybe only a couple of the jokes I've made about you.

See, I was watching the show and then my mom came down stairs and that little ending montage was going on. I sort of explained to her what was happening when the final scene with Clark and Lana in the barn started.

They were talking and then as soon as Clark moved closer and Lana said "No, I dont want to hurt you."

Immediately I said "You know what would impress me, it would be if Clark just walked up, not caring and hugged her."

At first it didn't look like that was gonna happen, which didn't surprise me and then when he started to move closer I thought No way would that happen, he's gonna stop halfway through. But he didn't. He made it all the way, I cheered him on and I did that out loud to. It was sad I almost cared (well I did care, just a tiny, tiny bit. I really don't like Lana, what can I say).

BUT THEN! THEY DIDN'T END THERE! THEY SHOULD HAVE CUT BEFORE THEY PULLED AWAY! WHEN CLARK WAS IN ALL HIS SLOWLY DECAYING GLORY!
IT WAS A PERFECT MOMENT! FULL OF EMOTION! NOT COMPLICATED! NO MORE WORDS WAS NEEDED! EVERYONE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AFTERWARDS.

even though he's gone now, supernatural still credits him as their executive producer. I love that, it's so sweet.

Lady Bats! Gone Bat-Crazy!

So I sortta randomly started looking at movie about Elizabeth Bathory, also known as the Blood Countess.

She's in the Guinness Book of World Records as the greatest murderess of all time, that she killed over 650 people, mostly young girls.

And I stumbled across this one movie made in 2008 called Bathory, it seemed more well made than the others and was a Czech-made movie...But anyways! So I was watching the trailer and immediately my brain began thinking: "Those cheek bones are familiar, those eyes are familiar. That cheek bone/eye combination is familiar."

I proceeded to check who was the actress playing Elizabeth Bathory, and sure enough it was Anna Friel.

"Holy Shit! It's Chuck."

Wow...I'm impressed, especially after re-watching the trailer. You'd never imagine that the lady who plays Charlotte Charles on Pushing Daisies would also be playing a crazy Countess.

Now I'm even more interested.

Official site with the trailer.

Oh and a correction: maybe a J&J sandwhich would be fun.

Oh cruel fate!
Why must you make Canadian convention things cost so much more!

Oh cruel fate!
Why must you make me want a Photo Op with Jared Padelecki, almost just as much as one with Jensen! (The J&J sandwhich is cute, yes, but I feel like they're just laughing behind everyone's back...besides I want me some alone time with 'em.)

Oh cruel fate!
Why must you make me so poor, and why must my birthday be so far away, and why must things cost so much money that I feel bad spending money on it even though it's a once in the life time chance, and why must the canadian dollar be lower than the American dollar.

Oh cruel fate!
Why must you make me destined for one who has a girlfriend and then make the charming, cute, tall one so charming, cute, tall and single.

Oh cruel fate!
Why must you make me love them so!

Correcting Supernatural and Supernatural Fansites

To all Supernatural Fan-Site Creators and Supernatural Fan-fiction writers,

The genie in "What Is, And What Should Never Be" (2x20) is known as Djinn (or Jinn). A word that is derived from the Arabic word جني , jinnī.
It is not a Gin. You see, Gin is an alcohol flavoured with juniper berries, originating in the Netherlands in the 17th Century. The word Gin, was derived from the French word for juniper which is genévrier.

Now!

To correct Supernatural (the writers, fact-checkers, or whatever. I know you can't always be write and changing things can make it more interesting),

In the episode "No Exit" (2x06) the two Winchester boys and Jo Haravelle face the spirit of "The First American Serial Killer," this is in fact not true. Herman Webster Mudgett, who came to America and began doing buisiness under the name of Dr. Henry Howard Holmes, also known as H.H. Holmes is indeed a serial killer but he is not the first.

The first known serial killer, was in fact two people. The Harps, "Little" and "Big". They were cousins. Traveling from all over North Carolina to Tennessee to Kentucky and back to North Caroloina, raping and terrorizing farmers and their families and are known to killed around 30-40 people during the American Revolution (late 1700s).

H.H. Holmes was definitely a particularily nasty serial killer, yes, and being only one man he racked up quite the body count (well actually, that's just the known number. Apparently based on missing person reports it reaches into the 100s) and really did build a place now known as "Murder Castle," in 1893 for the World's Fair. After his arrest, the building burned down in a fire of unknown origins.
But spooky, spooky things definitely happened after Holmes' execution in Chicago.
...

Ew, getting that information made my stomach turn a little bit. I honestly have to say I like the supernatural stuff, it makes me feel less sick to my stomach. I completely agree with my sister, it's a hell of a lot more scary when it's a human.

And you can all douche yourself if you laugh, because I don't care.

If I had finished the fine arts program in university, tattooing was something I was seriously considering doing/pursuing as a career.

So :P
