Those who are so inclined, feel free to pick this apart and let me know what you think. I'm going to stick with the Enermax PSU I bought last year (35A on the +3.3v and +5 rails, 33A on the +12v). Keep in mind that I'm not concerned about 3D gaming, so I'm unwilling to lay down more than ~$150 on a video card. I'm mainly interested in an All-in-Wonder because I'm a multimedia fetishist and more cables and connections make me hot. Any glaringly bad ideas here?

Hm... other than "ew, Sempron" it all looks ok. Might want to try faster RAM though? I have no idea.
Man, I don't want to build another computer ever... I'm so... stuck behind the times.

I was going off of this guide regarding the RAM, although I don't know the reason they say to go with PC3200. I hear ya about not wanting to build, but future-proofing seems to be impossible.

I'm no expert, but it looks good to me. I think you could have more RAM using less slots... but I don't know pricewise if it's worth it. Depends on whether and how you plan on upgrading the memory.

Also, the 250 GB SATA harddrive and DVD burner are making me jealous. I desperately need more storage capacity.

I chose to buy RAM in two sticks because the nForce chipset supports some dual memory bank configuration thing to increase RAM bandwidth. I dunno if this still holds true with the newer components or not (the last PC I built was on nForce2 hardware; this board is nForce4). I figure it couldn't hurt though. As for upgrading, I'd like to hope that 1GB will serve me well for the forseeable future. I would like to add another HD in some sort of RAID configuration though, because data loss frightens me :P

If you use that guide, you should be set. :)

Well, I deviated in the video department but otherwise stuck pretty close to their recommendations. I have yet to find a reliable guide to determining accurate power consumption needs, so I'm just relying on the principle of "buy a whole lot more power than you think you'll need and it can't blow up" :P

They talk about how to do this on the SA forum that guide is made from. You have to use a formula and stuff. Keep looking through the old threads or ask me to search for you if you can't find it.

Part of the problem is actually figuring out how much power a given component needs, when manufacturers don't seem to offer that information. Anyway, I'd be interested for the sake of idle curiosity, but I think the PSU I've got should more than cover me for the forseeable future.
