And by way of a real, "this is me" statement sort of thing, I present the following:
I'm a twenty-something (wow, that sounds pop-culturish), living in Seattle. I grew up in Montana, where my experiences included, but were not limited to:
eating venison, elk and antelope on a regular basis
visiting Glacier National Park almost every summer
participating in chicken/pig butchering and calf branding at a very young age
attending a small, highly conservative, evangelical, fundamentalist, Christian school
If that's not enough for you to sketch my character flaws quirks from, I have no concrete plans for my future, though I'm studying to be a copy-editor. I have a B.A. in English Lit and Creative Writing, but I rarely write creatively. Despite my college degree, I have found it impossible to get a job requiring more education than my current occupation as a receptionist demands. If I could figure out how to work around immigration things, I'd love to live in London, or Edinburgh.
I've traveled rather extensively for someone my age (I suppose), having been to Canada, Germany, France, Austria, South Africa, Britain and Ireland.
I'm definitely a grammar-nazi, but if you don't mind me occasionally correcting you, I don't mind dealing with poor grammar (though I dislike wading through copious errors).
I love The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Battlefield Band, Flogging Molly and various other random things, most of which can be found on my interests list.
My journal is mostly public, with a few of the more personal/angsty entries being friends only. If you'd like to be added to my F-list, comment on one of my entries. I'll probably check out your journal first, and if you seem interesting, I'll add you.
If this bio seems unnecessarily rambly, keep in mind that I wrote it one day when I was bored at work.
