We have a Hobby farm here in Vermont with many animals. We raise Dairy Cows, Chickens, Goats and sooo many more oddball critters on our Farm for food and pet purposes.

We enjoy a simple lifestyle with no television other than occasional NetFlix movies, Our main link to what goes on is through the internet.
We grow most of our own food, raise our own meat and drink milk from our own animals. I sew most of my own clothes although I just can't master a pair of pants that compete with Wranglers for my Husband so he buys his LOL.
Recently we have made the switch to eating healthier and making as much as possible of our food from scratch.
I greatly enjoy making bread and other goodies.

We have 1 child, a Son named Reuben who was born Jan 2005. Unfortunately, Reuben arrived into this world early and left it much too soon. He is first and foremost on my mind every day but the pain has ceased to be so raw at this point. We have decided to accept what God has in store for us as far as a family even if this means our family is just us. I strive each day to put my trust in God for our future if it includes children or not.

pregnancy week by week

What a surprise! After we decided to put it in God's hands and accept whatever path we were led on.. we discovered we were pregnant!
After a shaky start to the pregnancy where we were being seen by a Specialist, a midwife AND an OB we have been given the all clear that the baby (and I) are both perfectly healthy this time around and shouldn't face any problems with premature birth.
After some decision making we have decided to birth at Home to make sure everything will be as gentle and perfect as possible.
Looking forward to our little boy's arrival in February!
