Will Smith raps the Fresh Prince theme show on the Graham Norton Show. Featuring the musical skills of one Gary Barlow. And yes, I totally rapped along. It can't be helped. It's a reflex :)

Saw West Side Story. The dancing was phenomenal -- loved the America number! I did miss the guys in the number. After some reading, the all-girl version painting America in a positive light was the original version. The movie added the guys and changed the lyrics to reflect the hardships & racism. I also wished they ended it the same way as the movie, with the Puerto Ricans rushing in to help carry Tony. The musical ends with Baby John placing the scarf on Maria's head and everyone just standing there. But whatever. Minor nitpick. Great production so I definitely recommend it!

Although I was kinda disappointed the cast didn't look like this ;)

OMG I just saw this video on tumblr and HO.LY.SHIT. I was not expecting THAT at all. And he's only 18!!

Everyone is seeing The Avengers but I'm not going til Wednesday (!!!!) (and again on Friday). MUST.RESIST.SPOILERS. And I would like to thank all those on my f-list using the lj-cut :)

In other news, Zac Efron & Matt LeBlanc were on the Graham Norton Show and were hilarious! Their stories about fan encounters while driving were too funny. And holy smokes, Matt has one sexy voice! Part 3 of the interview also has an adorable story about Matt's daughter and his famous line, "how you doin'?"



Last Thursday, I went to a Bryan Adams concert! It was kinda last minute as my co-worker needed someone to go with her. Simple stage, nothing fancy, just a great rock show. He sounded amazing live. No opening act, just 2.5 hours of Bryan. I forgot how many hits Bryan has had! Summer of 69 still is the big favourite though.

Oh! And I finally watched the L&O-inspired Community. Holy crap, that was BRILLIANT. And I've never watched a single ep of L&O so who knows how many in-jokes/homages I missed, still awesome though.

OMG EMOTIONALLY DRAINED. Almost cried twice. Heart was broken, then mended and am now feeding it chocolate. Artie + Mercedes needs to sing all the soulful duets together.

Keith Coogan OMG! Embarrassing confession time -- Jeremy Licht was like my *favourite* on The Hogan Family.

Over the Easter weekend, I did a bus tour down to Washington DC as I haven't been there in 10+ years. Would've liked to see the cherry blossoms but they bloomed early this year so by the time I went, they were all gone.

Bus ride was long. Border waiting time was damn long. We basically only stayed in DC for like half a day before we had to start the long ride back (with a couple of stops along the way).

I've been trying my darnedest with avoiding all Avengers stuff including interviews but the tumblr gifs are KILLING me! A gif set of this interview referencing a possible "bonus scene" included a link to the actual video (bless people who do this!) so I finally gave in and clicked the link. I'm going to have so much fun watching all these interviews after seeing the movie.
