Soooooo last time I wrote, I was super pumped for The Dark Knight. I'm sure most of you have seen it by now but in case you haven't, all I'll say is that for me, it definitely lived up to the hype, especially Ledger's performance. Hooooly shit...!
Now the next thing to look forward to is the Watchmen movie next year... oh god Snyder please don't fuck this up. I liked 300 and all but this is a completely different kettle of fish... I am cautiously optimistic though. If you haven't read this epic piece of work yet you need to do it NOW.
( Things that have been happening: )
In other major news, we FINALLY got given our official marching orders in mid-June - our new landlord wanted to renovate our place and then most likely move in himself. One and a half weeks later, we had already landed ourselves a new place (first place we applied for!) - if only it was that easy every time!! The new place is in Caulfield South, so only about 5 minutes away from where we currently are. It's pretty awesome (except for the kitchen, but I'll deal) and I am stoked about the feature walls in the lounge and bedroom, and WOODEN FLOORBOARDS IN THE LOUNGE oh god farewell forever, hard-to-clean vomit-green carpet!! Also farewell forever you fucking shithead neighbours who I want to STAB!!! The big move is next Tuesday... I never knew until now how tiring packing and cleaning could be, ergh.
Oh yeah and I saw Strung Out & No Use a couple of times the other week, but that can wait for another time.
