[12 Sep 2005|06:16pm] [ mood | sick ] so my car is still broken, it's been broken since wednesday or something like that. so instead of taking the bus to school, i've just been borrowing cars from people. yeah, i've driven FIVE different cars this week...so i figure i'll just give a little review on each. - Toyota Sienna (minivan): now i have to say that this van is pretty cool for a minivan. the acceleration isn't bad and the turning radius is AWESOME. i'm serious...i can do a really tight u-turn with the thing. it also has a lot of compartments (which marco mentions you can store pot in if that's your thing). one of the sliding doors opens with a push of a button and both back doors have windows that roll down! cool. - Ford Taurus (about 1990?): borrowed from the neighbors. Windshield is really dirty and it has some glitches that regular automatics shouldn't have, but the new cd player is pretty cool so it's not too bad. locking system is too complicated so i don't even lock it during school. - Ford Taurus (about 1998?): also borrowed from the neighbors, but this one is a lot newer so it's also better to drive. the leather seats are nice (but then again they had to kill a few cows...totally not cool). music system has no cd player (also not cool) but it has a sunroof (hell yeah). - Toyota Solara (convertible!): by far my favorite. i put the top down every time i drove it. has a 6-cd changer player thingy and the sound system is awesome. also has leather seats but by now we've killed too many cows. has the best acceleration (and the smoothest). this car made me look cool at work (a plus). - VW Jetta (1986): yes, my baby counts because i drove her home from the mechanic's (my dad has decided to do the work). still going (slightly) strong, but the brakes can go out an any minute so that's not a good thing. cd player. air conditioning. still works. still a pimp car. yeah so there you go. until next time, keep dreaming... peach!
