I may end up spending all my money but I'll still be alive [12 Jul 2007|08:18pm]
Good Things: If I were a gay man, I would say that this announcement made me FANGASM, but I'm not, so I'll just say that I'm really really REALLY fucking excited about this. This one announcement has committed me to spending money on an Xbox 360, a full Rock Band accessory set, the Who's Next downloadable content (FFFFFUCK YES), and a microphone stand so I can sing and play guitar at the same time as God intended. Soon everyone in this apartment will know what it's like to be Batman (the sad man, behind blue eyes).

(Sucks that a grand total of ZERO news outlets took the time to research the correct spelling of "Going Mobile," but oh well!)

Also nobody really seems to care about games that people might actually want to play in the wake of EXCITING announcements of a Viva Pinata minigame collection and a new PSP that looks exactly the same as the old one, but the U.S. version of Professor Layton and Advance Wars DS 2 are basically the best news to come out of E3 so far. Someone let me know if I missed anything else worth playing, because I'm not seeing it.

Bad Things: Silent Hill 5 is being developed by The Collective, the people behind one of my arch-enemy games, Marc Ecko's Getting Up. Getting Up itself really isn't all that bad, but Marc Ecko never did send us the free hoodies that he promised us after our Trane promotional work, so I'm already calling Silent Hill 5 a bad game by extension.

(Other recent arch-enemies: Zombie vs. Ambulance, Final Fight Streetwise, Odin Sphere, Atlus in general, and as of last night, Jackass: The Game)

Horrible Things Nobody Asked For Or Deserves: Elf Bowling...........THE MOVIE. GOD DAMMIT.
