Something very personal, that contains a real argument and could maybe even change the way people think about a subject they'd otherwise give no thought to. The psychology of video games has interested me lately in particular; I'd like to document how Katamari Damacy has made me reevaluate some of my personal relationships, or maybe analyze just why I like Bemani games, even though (or perhaps because) they lack nearly every traditional element common to the modern video game. I could go on for pages and pages on either subject, and creating something along these lines would make for a very fulfilling project for me personally. It won't ever happen, but that's okay, since this is a thread where Atari fatties discuss the price of butter, and that makes everyone happy. 37 comments|post comment
