osake no hako no fukkatsu [09 May 2004|02:43am] [ mood | wonderful ] [ music | Mitsuto Suzuki - Let's Run ] kanashii kara, nomimasu. nomu kara, kanashiin desu. mada, ii jya arimasen ka? dare ga shimashita ka? mitsukemasu!!! ...is what is now permanently etched into the top of my favoritest box of wine, the "osake no hako." Those were my final lines in the Japanese group skit we performed last week - written in ink on top of the box in case I blanked on what to say. I didn't need to look at them, as it turned out; I spoke from the heart, and my performance was as touching as it was dramatic. Well, as touching and dramatic as one can be collapsed in a corner, weeping, while clutching a box of wine. ( He couldn't have killed Curtis - he loves wine too much. ) So yeah, the semester's over, I guess. I'm kind of wondering what I'm supposed to do now...I'll think about that more clearly once Friday's late-night caffeinated insanity wears off. What a great night that was, though, seriously.
