Man, why did Kill Bill Vol. 2 have to suck? WHY? I made a special trip and skipped class to see the first showing of this shit yesterday, and...argh!

Like, I keep thinking that the movie I saw was some kind of joke; that two versions of Kill Bill Vol. 2 must exist. One of them is a great sequel that fulfills your every expectation and actually, you know, contains at least one fight scene that doesn't end immediately after it starts with a bullshit anticlimax. The other version, conversely, would be an interminable practice in boredom, consisting of nothing but long stretches of silence broken up by redundant dialogue and squishy eyeballs.

Theatres would alternate between versions with each showing, see, meaning that I got unlucky and saw the bad version, while the audience after me got their faces rocked off with the movie I was expecting to see. Which is to say, something that was actually entertaining.

Actually, even if this isn't the case and only one version of Kill Bill Vol. 2 was made (that being, to reiterate, the ball-sucking version), I still think this is a great idea. Someone should do that - make two totally different versions of a hyper-anticipated movie and alternate between both without telling anyone. It would drive the movie snoots mad.

So yeah, I guess I'm 1 for 3 now over the last month as far as picking movies goes. The Ladykillers was almost as bad as Kill Bill, but at least Eternal Sunshine makes up for both of them. What a great, creamy movie that was. Maybe I'll have better luck next week.

Announcement coming up soon for certain Friends-style peoples. Be on the lookout.
