| I swear when I went to school it was all 'Where is the youth hostel' and 'I would like to buy that bucket and spade please'
But now...

| It's nothing more than a load of old bollocks spouted by a complete and total lunatic who gets kicks out of threatening people 'in the name of god'.
Would this be the same god who is supposed to instil compassion and forgiveness into us? Probably yes, however the tosser behind this one loves to make threatening phonecalls and emails to people, their collegues, family... anyone whose contact details he can get hold of basically.
It's like the childhood myth of saying 'candyman' 3 times in the mirror only with the added benefit it actually works.
So... he's probably going to threaten me regarding libel or slander after googling this. But I don't care because the threats are easily proven and everything else is subjective. If I say I think he's a cunt then that's subjective and my belief and cannot be disproven as factually incorrect.
So I guess that makes him a fundamentally unlikeable zealot cunt. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |

| 11 years ago today a legend was no more. He wasn't the greatest guitar player in the world from a technical stance but damn if he didn't mean every chord he hit. Passion and honesty from music means more to me than technical wizardry.
I can still remember the very first time my mate rich played me nevermind and I never really latched onto music until that point. I think I sat silent for a minute after come as you are, only to utter 'oh..... f**k!' - not the most literary response but a rare response from me about music. A need to say something but all the same being rendered speechless.
His music has probably had more of an effect on my outlook and the people I know who a lot of the time are driven by music and united by their tastes and I genuinely believe that things are a lot better in my world for hearing his music.
So if you're out drinking tonight raise a glass for Kurt.
Peace, love, empathy mate. Your influence is here to stay. | comments: Leave a comment |

| I'm off to Amsterdam this weekend, so what is my first concern?
A) Do I know where my passport is and is it current? B) Where's my toiletries bag? C) How the hell am I going to charge my tech?

| I haven't had a holiday since early 2002, and my manager suddenly pointed out I have a shitload of holiday downtime I really do need to use.
So bugger it - I'm off to Amsterdam in march.

| Not big on christmas as I'm not religious and it's a bit of a capitalist gangbang really - but regardless of that we need time to stop, gather everyone together and catch up on things and spend a bit of time with people right?
So why not make a little time regardless of religion or beliefs - it makes sense for everyone to do it at the same time, right?
Christmas should be more than a coca cola corporate logo overshadowing religious beliefs and record profits for hallmark cards. | comments: Leave a comment |

| Yet I can walk into WH Smiths, pick up a games magazine and see a review of my new spectrum game. How ace is that?
83% overall for Reaxion, with a maximum of 90% for music - highest review score so far. Now to do something a little more mainstream I suppose :) | comments: Leave a comment |

maybe in the future I'll get a little closer to mainstream than Retro gamer, but still... picking up a mag in WH Smiths and seeing your work in it is a laugh. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| There's some really good looking girls out there - but why are they all so bloody boring?
I sat with 3 of them monday night and a mate who I regularly go drinking with. we were having a laugh and one kept staring at me, occasionally smiling at me. I was a little curious and interested when she came over to talk to me.
'Hiya. I'm kate and I'm studying psychology.'
Actually her name wasn't kate - I just can't remember what it is. she may not even be studying psychology but you get the gist.
Then to further impress me she then went into her career aims, A-level results and when that failed failed to provoke an impressed reaction she delved into the murky history of her GCSEs.
freshers are good looking but god damn they're dull! I'm not exactly a party animal myself (more of a geek come to think of it) - but what's wrong with maybe lurking on a conversation then throwing a relevasnt but moderately interesting point in, telling a joke or if you really must self-promote try something more sociable and less business-like. 'Hiya - I'm kate and I like Disturbed and getting pissed' would be better, for example.
and the blokes.. fuck me - now I know why the girls wanted to talk to me. they were all trying to be the ultimate suave social-animals who knew everyone worth knowing, shaking hands left, right and centre, spouting cheesy one-liners in a voice that makes the bloke who says 'your call is very important to us' on a callcentre hold message sound enthralling, then moving on to the next victim.
walking stereotypes everywhere. I don't remember them being this bad last year, or when i was at uni the 4 years before. If I was ever this bad you have my full permission to shoot me dead.
and to think I was initially excited at the idea of a mass of women who weren't familiar with the mass of lies and my so-called shortcomings...
so.. is there anyone out there who isn't a bitch and doesn't bore the bollocks off me? | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| So do I. pointless bastards the lot of 'em.
that aside - my Sony Ericsson k770i is lovely.:)
So if you think you should have my number and I haven't given you the new one then it's because I've forgotten - just give us a nudge.
