BioThis is for a CSC role-playing game.
I was born Margarita Carmen Cansino in New York city. I was the daughter of Volga Hayworth Cansino, a Ziegfeld Follies chorus girl, and Eduardo Cansino, a Spanish dancer, part of "The Dancing Cansinos". I have 2 younger brothers. I spent the first 7 or 8 years of my life in New York, then I moved all the way to California with my family. There my father would open a dancing school and work on movie sets as a choreographer. I dreamt of becoming a beautiful dancer as a girl. My very first onscreen appearance was a 1926 Vitagraph short, however, no big movies came my way.
