Randoms Candy

Note: I received a free sample of Randoms candy to try.

I recently got some Randoms gummy candy to test out and I gotta say, I love it! They taste so good. Randoms is pretty...random. They're gummy candies in all sorts of shapes and sizes. You never know what you will find in your bag, but that's the fun. It's all in the element of surprise! I love the feeling of digging into the bag and not knowing what shape or flavor you'll get.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen

Note: I received a sample of Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen courtesy of Influenster in their Summer Beauty VoxBox.

At first take, this lotion smells amazing! I'm already a fan of Hawaiian Tropic products; I use their tanning lotions, so I was definitely excited to receive the Silk Hydration Lotion. The lotion works great; I was outside all day on Saturday in the hot sun and the lotion protected my skin very well. No burns, not redness, just perfectly tanned skin. You can find Hawaiian Tropic products at most major retailers; I've previously purchased mine from Duane Reade, Target, and Walmart.

With its ultra-luxurious hydrating silk ribbons, Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration™ lotion sunscreen nourishes and pampers skin while providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and 12-hour moisturization when out in the sun. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen also comes in SPF 12, 30, and 50!

Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions Review

First of all, I want to note that I received a complementary product sample of Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions through Influenster's VoxBox program. The Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions are the only ball of foot product made with unique FabuSTEP® gel.

As soon as I took them out of my VoxBox, these Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions promptly went into my mint green sandals. Those have been hurting my feet for the longest time but I can't resist wearing them. Now, with the Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions, with their Immediate Massaging Gel™ comfort, they have become the most comfortable sandals that I own. They stayed completely in place, even while walking all around NYC!

I want to get these for every single pair of shoes that I own, to make them even more comfortable! Best of all, they're designed to fit all women's shoes so I don't have to worry about whether or not they will work for a particular pair of shoes! Best of all, you don't have to trim them to get them to fit in the shoe!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects

Note: I received the Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips to test out via Influenster's VoxBox program. I received the "animal instinct" print which is a glittery dark pink zebra print.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

These are really easy to apply - I once saw a woman at a nail salon applying them to a customer and thought to buy them for myself. The prints are fun and funky - I definitely wouldn't be able to do "zebra nails" by myself from scratch, that's for sure! I hope that they will last up to 10 days, like the box says. There are also 40 different styles that you can choose from, but I've only been able to find certain ones at the drugstores around here. For example, that blue leopard (Hear Me Roar) looks awesome but I have yet to see it in stores! And I think "Lust-rous" would be awesome for the winter, maybe for a New Years' Eve party. It would definitely jazz up any dress.

IN NYC, I've seen it at all the local drugstores, including Duane Reade and Rite Aid as well as mass merchandise stores like Target. For more information, you can visit http://www.sallyhansen.com

Sheer Cover Review

First of all, I want to mention that I received a complementary product sample of Sheer Coverage Duo Concealer through Influenster's VoxBox program.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

More information on Sheer Coverage Duo Concealer here: http://www.sheercover.com.

Unlike my current concealer, which comes on a stick, this one comes in a little pot and you need a concealer brush to apply it. You can use your fingers, but I really prefer not to. I tested this earlier in the week since I woke up with a blemish and was wanting to test it out since I got it in my VoxBox! The coverage is great, not too heavy but definitely not light. It stayed on all day, which is great since I'm such a grease ball by the end of the day! Nothing stays on my face! I have a medium olive skin tone and the medium/tan shades worked perfectly.

I really like the fact that the Sheer Coverage Duo Concealer contains moisturizing Jojoba to help nourish and restore the skins’ natural moisture balance, Allantoin to calm and soothe sensitive, irritated skin (which I think attributed to that blemish disappearing!) and even provides antioxidant protection from free-radicals.

This is definitely a product that I would purchase. To purchase Sheer Cover, visit http://www.SheerCover.com or call 1-877-489-2035.
$29.95 for the concealer (non-member price) and $29.95 for the introductory system, which also includes the Duo Concealer.

Review for Maybelline Babylips Lip Balm

First of all, I want to mention that I am a bzzagent and I received these products for free.

The Babylips lipbalm did a great job in making my lips feel smooth! I love to apply this and then apply my favorite lip gloss over it! The only thing that I didn't like about this was the packaging - Very ghetto/trashy looking. Also, the cherry flavor left me disappointed. The "tint" was a bright red! I looked like I had clown mouth after using that one. Ugh. Too bad, I really liked the smell of that one. My favorite one was the peach kiss flavor - just the right amount of color and a wonderful smell as well. It's a welcomed addition to my makeup bag that I keep in my purse.

imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Received the Influenster Holiday VoxBox the other day! First of all, I want to mention that I got these items free of charge to test out. Influenster is NOT a "freebie" website where anyone can get free products. You must be handpicked among a large pool of members to receive this VoxBox at no cost because of your influential power and willingness to share your positive experiences with your networks. Some members portray Influenster as a platform where ANYBODY can receive free products. This is a MISLEADING statement as only trendsetters, who love giving feedback and spreading the word about product discoveries are rewarded in this program.

One of the items that I received in this VoxBox is the imPRESS Press-on Manicure in Space Cadet. Space Cadet is the perfect pattern to use for a night out on the town! Space Cadet is a black and white "cracked" pattern with a hint of white shimmer.

imPRESS Press-on Manicure comes with 24 nails in 12 sizes. It literally takes seconds to apply - just peal off the sticky tab, place it on your nail, and press down! There's no drying time and the nails are meant to last for a week. Best of all, it takes just seconds to remove, so if you change your mind, you can easily switch to a different shade or pattern.

There are 36 colors and patterns in the imPRESS Press-on Manicure collection, including brights, patterns, dark colors, and animal prints. There's something for everyone. The patterns cost $7.99 a package and the colors are $5.99. You can get it at Walgreens, CVS, Kmart, Walmart, and Rite Aid, just to name a few places. NYC New York Color Review

Received the Influenster Holiday VoxBox the other day! First of all, I want to mention that I got these items free of charge to test out. Some members portray Influenster as a platform where ANYBODY can receive free products. This is a MISLEADING statement as only trendsetters, who love giving feedback and spreading the word about product discoveries are rewarded in this program.

One of the items that I received in this VoxBox is the New York Color Liquid Lip Shine in the color Nude York City.

This lipgloss has quickly become one of my favorites. Being from NYC, no wonder the brand name automatically draws me in! And unlike the stereotype about NYC, New York Color products are inexpensive - prices range from just 99 cents to about $4.99! But, don't let the price fool you - it's big on quality and you can get it almost anywhere - Duane Reade, Target, Family Dollar, Rite Aid, CVS, and Kmart, just to name a few.

Nude York City has a great scent, sweet but not sickeningly so and has the right hint of color. It's perfect over some lip balm! Best of all, your hair doesn't stick to it. The liquid lipshine costs about $2.49.

It is made with pure pigments that lead to a 3D effect and the Vitamin E in it provides moisture and shine. It comes in 10 different shades, from nude (which I received) to berries and fuschias.

Influenster VoxBox-Vitabath

So excited to have received my first Influenster VoxBox! First of all, I want to mention that I got these items free of charge to test out. The items in my VoxBox were:

Vitabath Fragrance Collection: Although I had not heard of this brand before this VoxBox, Vitabath has been around for over 50 years! You can find Vitabath at Bed Bath & Beyond, Duane Reade, and Ulta, just to name a few. Vitabath is made without sulfates and parabens and contains an antioxidant blend including acai, pomegranate, green tea, and mangosteen. I received the Asian Orchid & Coconut scent. The scent is heavenly, more towards the sweet side, as it contains pink sugar, but definitely not overly sweet. I used it with a bath sponge and I love the way that it lathers.

Proactiv, which I never tried before but am so glad that I got the chance to. Even before this program, I have heard many wonderful things about Proactiv but just never got around to trying it. I don't have too many pimples but this stuff actually makes my oily skin a bit less oily and I've been looking for a product to do just that! I will certainly consider purchasing this product once my sample runs out.

Proactiv is sold as a 30 day, 3 step system for $19.95. If for some reason, you're unhappy with the product, Proactiv will give you a refund (minus shipping) if you send back your products along with a receipt within 60 days. There are even success stories on the site, including some celebrity testimonials like Katy Perry! For more info, visit http://www.proactiv.com
