well yesturday i went to pick trisha up from the
airport with her mom, the ride down wasn't as
bad as i thought it would be. but i was sooooo
excited to see her. i gave her a big hug when
she walked out of the plane thing. but then we
got her luggage which took forever and went
to taco bell in altoona. then we went to the
place that she is staying and shittt. well when
we got their scott went to the meadows to hang
out with us. we walked down even though her
mom yelled at us, and we hung out their for a
little bit. then her mom came in her car around
one or something and yelled at us to get in the
car and for scott to leave around two, but he deff
stayed until like four. haha we read and watched
fear factor and stuff. in the morning we got sheetz
for breakfest and then left to go to my house (:

when i got home, i deff got a shower and hung around
the house for a little with trisha. then around five or
something we went to soccer practice, it was crazy..
we ran basically the entire time. i did good for most
of it, for my first time or whatever. i love the feeling.

after practice, we got home, and chris callled me..
rahhh. i don't know why he did though. but i guess
it is okay. tomorrow would be our four month..oh
well i guess i have to forget about us, we're not us
anymore, we're just chris and jen. which hurts. oh well.

so denise picked trisha and i up and when we got to
her and steves house, denise made dinner and hellped
me study for my permit test. that im taking again the
second time. for tomorrow. anyway when steve got
home we ate, then ordered cheese cake from some
place i forget haha. so we went to get that and i zoned
out on the way back, it was scary. anyway when we got
back their, we ate our cheesecake, and played dutch
blitz, i love that game. and we planned a sleep over
saturday night, and then go to church that morning.
i got sick from the food, so its alright then around
ten twenty we went home. yeah ya. now i am just sitting
here listening to music <3 emery.

Once on a yellow peice of paper with green lines
he wrote a poem and he called it "Chops"
because that was the name of his dog
and thats what it was all about and his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star, and his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts that was the year Father Tracy took
all the kids to the zoo and he let them sing on the bus
and his little sister was born with tiny toenails and no hair
and his mother and father kised alot
and the girl around the corner sent him a Valentine
signed with a row of X's.
And he had to ask his father what the Xs meant
and his father always tucked him in bed at night
and was always there to do it..

Once on a peice of white paper with blue lines
he wrote a poem and called it "Autumn"
because that was the name of the season
and thats what it was all about and his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly and his mother hung it on
the kitchen door because of its new paint
and the kids told him that Father Tracy smoked cigars
and left butts on the pews and sometimes they would burn holes
that was the year his sister got glasses with thick lenses and black frames
and the girl around the corner laughed
wen he asked her to go see santa clause and the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed alot and his father never tucked him in bed at night
and his father got mad, when he cried for him to do it.

Once on a paper torn from his notebook
he wrote a poem and called it "Innocence: A Question"
because that wasthe question about his girl
and thats what it was all about and his professor gave him an A
and a strange steady look, and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because he never showed her that was the year Father Tracy died.
and he forgot how the end of the Apostle's Creed went
and he caught his siter making out on the back porch
and his mother and father never kissed or even talked
and the girl around the corner wore too much makeup
that made him cough when he kissed her but he kissed her anyway
because that was the thing to do
and at three a.m. he tucked himselfinto bed his father snoring soundly

Thats why on the back of a brown paper bag
he tried another poem and called it "Absolutely Nothing"
because thats what it was really all about and he gave himself an A
and a slash on each damned wrist and he hung it on the bathroom door
because this time he didn't think he could reach the kitchen <3
