Those are all of my condom amulets.

My hard drive crashed.....2 days after my warranty expired....

Luckily the guy at the mac store is honoring it so I can get another one for free .....but I lost everything....Now I have to see if data recovery is going to help me....but I have to pay $100 just to have them look at it and see if they can even help.

What is moussaka you ask?

It's layers of eggplant, potato and zucchini layered with a cinnamon tomato sauce and breadcrumbs smothered in a pine nut soy "custard". Its basically a greek themed noodle-less vegetable lasagna - sorta.

It may be hard to describe, but its easy to eat!





I used the Veganomicon's recipe and added a layer of mushrooms and put kalamata olives on the top. I also didn't have enough pine nuts so I used some cashews as well. It turned out very nice, we will definitely be making this again!

HBO's Oz - I just loved that show and I was very sad when it went off the air. Great storylines!

Also Arrested Development was soooo funny, what happened??

Veganomicon's quinoa almond muffins are the most reliable, easy and delicious muffins I know. This has quickly become a staple in my house!

This week I made blueberry and raspberry, and replaced the soy milk with almond milk.

They turned out great :)

I haven't eaten beets since I was a kid, and this salad sounded WEIRD - but it was actually really good!

The only thing I would change next time is to use a soft crust bread - the sandwiches were difficult to eat.

Overall a colorful and delicious meal :)

My first experience with making tamales was last week....but it was a disaster - I used way too much masa batter and they took forever to cook and had hardly any filling. After a visit to youtube to figure out what I was doing wrong I tried again. I used the Veganomicon recipe and tweaked it for the dessert tamale. Things turned out beautifully so I thought I'd share my success.

Chipotle Bean Tamale
Salsa Fresca and Guacamole
Cabbage and Choyote Squash Salad



Chocolate Tamales with chili, pumpkin seeds, and sea salt topped with fruit salsa (gold and green kiwi, apple, papaya, almond meal and macadamias with a touch of lemon juice)



When making the masa for the chocolate tamales I substituted Hemp Milk instead of Vegetable Stock, but all proportions were the same, it had a nice mild almost creamy flavor.

Yesterday I spent the day with toby at the Ypsilanti festival. It was really fun. there was this great little kids talent show, funny stuff. we also went to a firehousemuseum. we were supposed to go to this spoken word show. but we got there a little late, so there was a jazz band playing instead. at the end of the fest there were fireworks.

I'm going to use my cotton yarn to make a
skirt
this is my second skirt the first one was huge, if you need picture i can show them.
I almost made the same mistake. but i asked on ravely for help so it should fit me now.

I'm only 9 rounds in . I hope that i finish this the right way

work~~ my boss Tim. came up to me and said "you must have had this shirt for a while huh?" me "yea?" Tim "you usually look a little better, dont you?" "yea"
Tim "I just thought i would tell you that"

So he just told me that i looked dirty and i should never wear it again. I was a little upset about it. but this shirt does have a hole, stains, and ripped bottom.
