This journal mainly comprises posts about my fannish interests, principally Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and, more recently, Torchwood.

All posts with comments enabled are to be considered as discussions, and pretty much any form of participation is welcome from anyone. I've written a loose set of guidelines for how to participate, they can be summarised as: Never be afraid to say something but try to say it politely.

My 'friends' list is the list of people whose journals I read, not my list of actual friends. I am always on the look out for interesting posters who concentrate on aspects of meta discussion in the fandoms I am interested in, so I would welcome any recs or pimps (including self-pimps) to find such people. If you want me to start reading your journal then the best way to jump up and down and catch my attention is by posting interesting comments on one of my own posts, or just shamelessly link to one of your own posts that you think would interest me. If you just wish to read my journal then please feel free to do so, there is no need to ask or mention the fact and lurkers are very welcome. Please note that I very deliberately don't monitor who has friended or defriended me, so if you are looking for some sort of reciprocal exchange you may not get it.

My older posts are all organised by tags, so please use the tag feature to find stuff. Don't bother with my memories as they are mostly other people's posts that I want a memo of.

My fic can be found on my website, Peasant's Plot. Please note that for complicated personal reasons feedback is neither requested nor appreciated, (the only exception is detailed critical feedback which can help me improve as a writer). I apologise to people who like giving feedback but this decision was not reached lightly.
