Somehow, and I really don't know how exactly, I missed The Trap. It's a short film starring Jeanne Tripplehorn that played at a couple of film festivals around the country this year. It's directed by Rita Wilson (yes, of course there is a connection!), and it's really rather fab, but then I love anything that gives my favourite underrated actress a chance to flex her creative muscles. Don't be put off by the opening titles; it's not an advert/product placement fest. Those two companies simply provided money as part of a project to offer female writers and directors a chance to produce short films. Which is what they did here, and the end result is really rather beautiful.

Oh. And that song at the end... that's Rita Wilson singing. Who knew...

It is entirely possible that I've spent the past four hours watching the bonus stuff on the season 2 30 Rock dvds, and no, I am not sorry because omg. So. Funny. Especially the UCB thing. Nothing quite beats seeing an improv commercial for tampons.

The other gem is clearly Tina Fey writing Helen Mirren into the season finale, and then obviously failing to get her on board, which is such a shame, because the stuff she wrote for Helen was hilarious. A missed opportunity if I ever saw one. But hearing Tina read those lines as fake Helen is comedy gold. Her grumpy commentary with her husband is pretty funny too, so be sure to check that out also.

My stomach have felt weird since last Friday, at first, I thought it was because of the painkillers for my wisdom tooth, but it still feels funny since I stopped the painkillers.

Katie Couric gives Tina Fey Sarah Palin one more chance...

Word has it that Tina Fey will be back on SNL tonight. Looks like that crazy bespectacled workaholic can be persuaded quite easily by Palin's ability to write sketches for her. I'm certainly not complaining.

... And now back to watching some more of season 2 of 30 Rock.

I move from calm to pain in less then a breath. But atleast then I move back.  Waiting is the hardest part.  I just want to know if I have a boyfriend when I'm done all this.  Baby I swear if we get through this, we'll work through this.  I can never take it back, but I can love you.  With all I have.

Maybe I need to stop addressing all my journal entries to HJ.  Talk to yourself for a minute.  Ok, well.  I've never felt worse in my life, I'm sick all the time, I can barely get out of bed.
We have a puppy.  I miss you.
