Well Saturday night did not go as planned. I hadn't had alcohol in quite a while, so needless to say 4 Smirnoff Ice Black's and 4 champagnes knocked my socks off completely. I got drunk in front of all my old high school friends, and ended up puking in the garden. Charming.

Then I got to celebrate my wonderful hangover with a loud, screaming Australian Rules football match the next day. I love my family outings. lol. My parents were making fun of me the whole time - but they bought me hot chips and coke, which cured the headache. :)

Monday was a bit of a nothing day, I just did some washing and pottered around the house, reading and watching DVD's. I can highly recommend The Da Vinci Codes by Dan Brown to anyone looking for a good book. (I gave up on Crime and Punishment) And also Requiem for a Dream was a bloody amazing movie.

Erin, Kenta, Christoff, Sophie and Hugh are mighty disappointed that the Radiohead concert they saved up to fly across the country to see has been cancelled at the last minute. Pity they don't offer a refund for airfairs :/

Nice hangover, hope you're fine again! ;)
Maybe I'll try The Da Vinci Codes when I finished my book, thx!
You're a Franz Ferdinand fan, too! I love their songs, probably I'll go to their concert in June here.

Hi Belle, hope you've recovered from your hangover by now ;-)

I love Requiem for a Dream too, I was completely blown away the first time I saw it!

i know this is off topic, but i have a question: are Natalie Imbruglia and Daniel Johns married yet?
we don't get any sort of news about Silverchair here, because apparently they aren't well-received in Vancouver >=(

Your Saturday night sounds like my usual saturday nights - it always ends in puke.

Ive heard good things about The Da vinci Code, must get it. And Requiem For A Dream is/was one of the best films i'd seen in a long time! loved the way it was filmed.

ps. i havent been around this past week because i have the dreaded plague. mwahaha. well.. no. chicken pox actually. but im sure its just as much a pain in the ass. cannot stop itching! i haven't cleansed/toned/moisturised or used any precious LUSH face masks in a week. its driving me crazy. ill have to write an entry all about it. lol.

Rach x
