Day 1:
Drank a glass of water in the morning and nothing else. Stomach rumbled the morning. Reason: could not find any healthy food to eat, hence went hungry. Recess was a combination of 2 servings of rice, with 1 cabbage, 1 xiaobaicai, and a tofu. Then had 2 servings of fruits (rockmelon and honey dew my favourite), one wedge each. Felt quite empty after that, like didn't eat at all. But later on, the meal proved rather substantial. Had a cup of icecream, alot of sugar there. bad bad bad me. dinner, had almost nothing except for 3 mouthfuls of mee rebus, after which i realized that i'd plain forgotten about the diet. First day was a failure, starting anew on second day. :)
Hardly met the quote of required servings at all. In all had only about 2 servings of rice. 3 servings of vegetables, 2 servings of fruit. No tea drank at all, altho had about 6 cups of water in all. alot of icecream. badbad. Might need to consider if eating less is ok. Personally i don't think so.
Day 2:
Had a glass of water again for breakfsat. MIght not be very good. Have to consider buying some food to eat in the morning. Had a packet of apple juice. Lunch of made up of 2 servings or vegetables, 1 tofu, 1 fishball and 1 seaweed. With probably a serving of noodles. Was pretty good, starting to get used to it. Image of dietary table keeps flashing in my mind. Have to keep in mind that those at the top do not mean to abstain from them totally. I tend to avoid meat totally, although they is still a portion of meat a day or so. Really not that difficult, realized it was more psycological than anything.
Dinner was made up of beansprouts, xiaobaicai and blackbean fish, and rice. Probably had about 6 servings of vegetables this meal. Ate so much! The fish was rather salty, although i'm not sur eabout the nutritional value of black bean. can't be too bad right? =) i had fish instead of meat. AGain not too difficult. FOod tasted pretty good with the rice. Had a papaya and a honeydew (i love this stuff) after that to finish it off. Amounting to 4 servings of fruit today.
Tomorrow going to have Ritz biscuits for breakfsat. And i'm starting to have bread with some peanut butter or something.
When i went to the super market, i realized i was much more aware of what was healthy and what was not. Kept quite strictly to that. Hope the rest of you can too! :)
